3.5 / 5.
I give an extra half star for originality. The game isnt very fluid in its multiplayer aspects, and lacks the over all polish that it would probably have if it was a pay to play game. Also, turn based RPGs personally just dont hold my attention that long, I only made it through two of the final fantasy games cause their stories were good, the other two I tried didnt last. However, Just cause I dont like it, doesnt mean it's bad, and I give a lot of respect for the developers coming up with a new idea and implementing it.
3.5
I give it that. Its a great idea that needs polishing. But for a free MMO its very fun.

I'd say 3.5/5 too. Although if I'd only played up through level 30 or so I would have probably given it a 4. But after that it just started to feel very grindy for me... so yeah 3.5.
4/5
Lots of quests (easily found ones), fun combat, fairly friendly community (first game where I had more than a handful of people on my friend's list), fairly quick level progression (quicker than any other game I've played, Western or Korean), frequent updates (about 1 big one a month or so).
Downsides are a really expensive cash shop, bad graphics (that run poorly) and lots of little imbalances that offer smart (or knowledgeable) players huge advantages over the average one.
R.I.P. City of Heroes and my 17 characters there
I will give it a 3/5
If there did different quest with different story line upgrade the Graffias then it would of got a 4 for me.
good game enjoy the game play the most))
To be honest sometimes the first impression really puts me off:
the first screenshot with this manga like figure holding a sword as big as a house - i am exaggerating a bit i know *laughs* -
forces me to give -1/5.
ps: this game resembles much of the plethora of "asian"-style so called "free to play" aka microtransaction games that flood the market or something like lineage2 or aion.

I know what you mean... but with all due respect, don't pick an example if you don't know what it is. Aion does not fit your example at all man lol. You have obviously not played a beta of it or done any looking into it... it rocks!
Against other F2P MMOs? I'd go with 4/5
Against all MMOs? 2.5/5

I think i have to clearify my usage of Aion as an example. The keyword is the phrase "asian"-like, with which i mean targeted at the asian market with its special asthetic preferences (consider the scoolgirl or catgirl fetish market in japan or manga comics). Herein lies the true reason for taking lineage2 and Aion as further examples. its the style of the game that does not suit me, as you have already noticed from my previus post, not the game itself (inthe case of Aion).
I have never played Aion and i never will because the setting and optics do not apeal to me:
1. Very manga like characters with females wearing mini-skirts like in a comic book
2. The Characters remind me very much of Lineage2 which i tried out some years ago and, as a western player i have to admit, did not feel comfortable to get into.
Summary:
i did not say Aion might be a bad or good game. Regarding my post it is just another valid example of an asian game setting which does not suit myself, because i dont feel comfortable with the overall setting.
Hope this clearifies things
5 easily. One of the best MMOs ever, and its free to boot.
Former xFire user... I only wanted a game tracker and messenger, not a screenshot taker, video recording, broadcasting piece of bloatware.
I would give 4/5 for Atlantica. It really needs some polishing, but i think it's not bad at all. Very good for a f2p mmorpg.
Easily a 4.25/5.
To put it into context, I'd give most F2P MMOs a 0/5 to 1/5 and most P2P MMOs a 3/5 to 4/5.
Atlantica does some stereotypical F2P MMO negative things, but where it dares to be different is how it truly shines.
Probably 4.5/5
Atlantica wants to be different and is going through progress
If you don't like it that mean you are trap in a slash-and-play mmo style :P
I have to rate it as an above poster did.
Against other free-to-play MMOs 4.5/5
Against all MMOs 3/5
i'll give it 4 out of 5 (4/5)
good points for it's originality, fast level progression and an interesting theme
bad points for character imbalance and a really expensive cash shop
One star...the whole turn based crap has been done for years...FF(n). Taking it to an MMO just lets you see other people walking around doing stupid turn based combat in these "mini-instances" that they create. Terrible...terrible game.
4.5/5 And honestly, I have no idea why I like it so much. Was never a fan of the asian style of mmo's in general, didn't think final fantasy was that great, and am typically a fps/pvp player. I decided to give this game a try and have been playing for a few days now. Almost level 60, and been having a complete blast. The PvP is fun, and this is the first game that I can truly deal with grinding in because of autobattle/autorun. Great game and great fun.
4.5 / 5 This game is better than almost every game out including p2p games and the fighting system is great . Its not a grind all day game you have plenty of options of things to do and pve and pvp are equally great . If you have never played this game you should .
I'd give it an honest 2 stars. That's a 40% approval rating. (Which I think is fair). This game is boring but the one thing I will say nice about it is that the game is almost playable....ALMOST!
4/5
I really liked the traditional turned-based combat and the formation elements. Unlike most games where you just focus on gear, in Atlantica you need to come up with a strategy. One build/formation will work in certain situations, while it may fail in others. This is important especially if you dont want to spend too much. Better equipment doesn't translate into better combat. Also, since there are a few seconds between turns, it allows some time to breathe and plan. I dunno how many times I've gotten wiped in a raid in WoW, simply because I forgot a buff, or an attack because of the heat of the battle.
Also found the dynamic economy interesting. That and the town ownership and nations. I haven't gotten too far into the game to scrutinize the details tho, but its always fun to see when players can affect such game elements.
For the graphics and sound, I just find it at a decent level. Up to par with most new games, but nothing I haven't seen before. Same with the storyline. Typical fantasy plot. Not that its a bad thing tho.
Of course there are some stuff that got on my nerves. Specifically the random loot from boxes and random stat gains from potions. Kinda gets annoying when your staff main has more dex than int. Thankfully you have 8 other characters to make-up for minor imbalances due to the random stat distribution.
I'd give it 5/5.
I know this game has flaws, IM, in-game bugs. but i think compared to many other mmos out there... I think the quirks in this game are tolerable. ^^
I love the turn based combat.. best feature
3/5
I've played it for a long ass time and that's about the fairest rating I could give upon the game.
1) The turn-based combat is awesome, period.
2) I just sometimes like to fight on my own, rather focus on my own gear. You'd always have to upgrade mercs' gears, seeing same skillbooks for everyone to use over and over again.. It gets really old and expensive. Everyone is doing it.. Crafting the same stuff. The only difference is the undercuts.. u take it out of market, attempting to sell it, it gets undercut and repeat. Everyone is wearing the same thing, excluding the costumes which people are insanely overpricing on. That's the only negative about this game.
