Pretty much, some things you can't change. People of their own color/culture tend to want to live & associate with their own. Force blending them in often can lead to some pretty bad side effects. I don't know why one color of a race has to call the other racist, because pretty much everybody is one way or the other. There's no one race in this world that has not committed genocide and mass murder of another.
It's all about tolerance and finding a way to co-exist. We got a lil planet we can live on, that's it. It's fine to disagree with other's philosophy, preferences, etc.. it makes us human. But I do often find the ones crying racism are some of the most racist people around.

Why so much negativity towards Obamas presidency?
Basically because we are a divided country between two invented political parties. The democrats and republicans. As long as people keep thinking in terms of 2 different parties or factions that are (supposedly) opposite and are against each other, instead of a nation under all people the bullshit will keep churning and we will be at each others throats about something all the time.
Kinda makes you wonder if we are truly hardwired to work against each other or something that might be different from us. Or is it the media and pressures in society that keep pointing out the differences between us, almost feels subliminal and weird. We have a severe "us against them/something" attitude that is seen as the cool, hip, or patriotic thing to do. We are all citizens of a great country that should have a main goal of helping each other and making us stronger instead of slowly destroying ourselves from within. If we are to truly become stronger we must not keep looking, depending, and hoping for our govt to come and save us. Technically we are the people who make up the govt, all of us. We elect people that are supposed to assist us with our goals and tasks but now it seems we elect people who will keep us against one another. We should never hand over this much power to one person, a group of people, or a company to automate everything that goes on in our daily lives. All of us need to keep them in check constantly, instead of them keeping us in check.

The part that cracks me up is that the last Democratic President was the biggest killer of manufacturing jobs in history of the United States between Nafta and granting China most favored nation trading status due to the generous contributions to his campaign he managed to almost kill the manufacturing sector. Just to make sure it is good and dead Obama's Cap and Tax will create another wave of outsourcing as domestic companies are forced to move what is left of our manufacturing base overseas just to be competitive. There is a country that has a similar plan already in place Spain. Their current unemployment rate is 18%.
