The people who wanted to make Marvel never really stop the idea, looks like it. Seem like  they just put Marvel mmorpg in the back of the office on hold.

 

Marvel Creating Their Own MMORPG (Again)?

Gargantuan Studios is creating Marvel® Universe Online, the upcoming MMORPG set in the amazing Marvel Universe. We need Artists, Designers, Programmers, Managers, and others with super abilities – send us your resume to begin your day-job and secure your future. Gargantuan Studios is located in San Mateo, CA, and is a division of Gazillion Entertainment, one of the largest independent developers of MMO games in North America.

The Art Director works directly with the team to ensure a quality and consistency of style throughout the game. This person is the designer and controller of the look of the game, from title screen to end credits. Initial concept art will be part of the starting duties. They must be experienced in the creation of detailed style guides and be comfortable dealing with external licensors on a daily basis. A broad knowledge of artistic styles, video games, comic books and film is essential. The Art Director will work with the illustrators, modelers, textures and animators to achieve the objectives set forth by the Development Director in a timely and thorough manner. They will report to the Development Director.

    The less high fantasy MMOGs, the better. One more superhero game couldn't hurt.

    Put it like this, superhero games like the ones we have and new ones on the way can create fantasy, scfi, horror etc. Superhero MMORPGs fits all cause its your choice your creation.

    Uhum......isn't this section for PC games outside of the MMORPG genre, I mean we really have sections ( the largest part of this website) to speak about MMORPG, so not sure why this is posted here, okay it might be pc, but overall it's known as a MMORPG.

    Yes, this is for non MMORPG's. The section you want is the Pub.
