Im reminded of that line from episode 6 Star Wars - Return of the Jedi.
I just went to register my son for school today and I was sickened by what we went through. First station, picture for his school ID card.
I asked why does my son need an ID card for ? They said to use to identify him for things like access to his lunch account.
The next station was a fingerprint scanning device. I asked what was the purpose of that. The answer was in case the student loses his ID card. Plus its just easier to use than a card.
I refused to let my son get his finger scanned. They asked if my refusal was for religious reasons. I said no, I object because my son has a right to privacy guaranteed under the Constitution. They looked at me like I was insane.
One of them even said something to the effect that I must be one of those Ron Paul suppporters.
I had no choice but to say it was for religious reasons as there was no other option to allow me to refuse. I guess freedom from tyranny isnt a valid excuse.
I was outraged. This is how the elite plan on winning this war against our freedoms. They know my generation wont accept national ID cards and fingerprint scans but my son's generation will. Theyre growing up with it and think its perfectly normal.
I explained to my son in front of those school administrators that when I was in high school (1984 - 88) we didnt carry ID cards and the school worked just fine. We didnt get our fingers scanned just so we could eat lunch or check out a book and the system didnt collapse because of it. This is a complete invasion of your privacy.
The school has no right, nor does the goverment to require you to carry any form of indentification. These institutions are just supposed to guard those freedoms and educate you, thats it.
I was about to mention how this is a plan by the banking elite to get us to accept a cashless system so they can control the planet much easier but I could see I was wasting my words on these brainwashed idiots.
Whats waiting for my daughter when its time to enroll her ? chips implanted into her arm ? a background check ? maybe they want to do a credit check also ? how about pre-enrollment for mandatory military service ?
Its a sad day when kids cant eat food without getting their finger scanned.

Strange thing with ID cards when I went to high school (not to long ago). They introduced them as a "safety measure" (is it bulletproof or something?), and strictly enforced them for like two weeks, then stopped generally caring. Eventually barely anyone wore the cards.
Great, right? Well, the school then used the lack of an ID card to punish students as they pleased, at random instances. Almost like tax evasion or marijuana possession: if we can't nab them for a real crime, lets bring them in for something stupid. And so it became, if the assistant principals didn't like you, or you were a "bad seed," they would harass you unless you wore their stupid card. Even then, they found new ways.
So, what became a measure to keep out strangers and all the bad people became a way for the school administration to play favorites. In retrospect, I doubt ID cards would have provided much security anyway. I mean, it won't stop anyone who goes to the school, and I don't think I've ever heard of some guy just walking into a school without getting stopped by the normal security measures (i.e check-ins, guards).
Create a nation of criminals and no one will stand up to the growing tyranny around them. Makes sense, if you want power.

EDIT: for the record, you have a Idaho driver's license don't you? What's the difference if you have that, your kid gets this or you get a National I.D. card?
EDIT: Plus, as your son obviously was born in the 1990s or 2000s it looks like given your age, he more than likely had his feet and fingers ALREADY printed at the hospital he was born at. So they already have his genetic code and he's "doomed". So what's a fingerprint going to do that his footprint already hasn't done?

Well it makes sense. A lot of kids use others to pay for their lunches. Ive had a ID card since 6th grade though they never got my finger print. Personaly I thnk your over reacting I mean what are they gonna do with the finger print?

You act like ID cards for kids are a new thing. My school had ID cards in Junior High back in 1978.

this reminds me of when we had police officer day. They showed us everything, even showed us how to get our fingers printed.
Of course when you're in second grade this is exciting and something you'll gladly do.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

the problem I have with it is its replacing cash money with a system of control.
The Rockefellers and Rothschilds have advocated this plan to go cashless so they can futher control the masses (publicly stated goal).
They first substituted gold with paper money. Then gradually they changed money to just that paper with no gold backing it. An entire generation has grown up thinking that a piece of worthless paper is money. And now theyre working on taking the worthless paper too.
My son's fingerprint becomes the money. And in the future it will be a microchip containing our money.
Protest the actions of the goverment and its banking masters in the future and they can simply shut off your chip. You wont be able to eat, pay rent, or buy bullets. This is their stated goal and theyre closing in on it.
we're supposed to be a constitutional republic, not a democracy or a socialist state or a communist nation. Yet more and more our rights are taken away. Each day we get a little closer to slavery and people say whats the big deal about national id cards or socialist health plans.
Hitler did everything legally in nazi germany. they passed laws to legally rob people of their rights, money, and eventually their lives. and we're heading down that path.
Isn't it sad how we see the young people on this site are so conventional, such loyal citizens, that they flame and call people who disagree with their beloved government mentally ill? they actually take the time to attack people who dare question the status quo. In my day, the young actually thought for themselves and respected dissenters.
It is a sad state of affairs when the YOUTH of this country are such conformists.

In all seriousness, if you couldn't get pass the requirements for receiving his lunch, do you have any kind of idea what kind of forms you're going to be signing for say, PE? And you might aswell forget about little league anything; proof of insurance and medical releases.
And steer clear of that height requirement per ride thing if ever you're taking him to Six Flags.
In all seriousness, you can't be serious. If you got far enough to get his student ID, then you had long since handed over his social security, birth certificate and etc. to affirm his identity and age.

The Obama Deception I believe is a video by Alex Jones, noted conspiracy theorist and all around fun guy to watch. he has made many interesting observations over the years, and while I certainly don't believe everything he says much less all of his conclusions, I am not about to call him mentally ill either.
He has followed different trails than me and we have ended up in different parts of the woods -- just like you and me.
That being said, I may not agree with all you say but I'll defend with my life your right to say it. Plus I wil defend with words when people use soviet-style tactics to ridicule you.

Makes more sense then letting the television (or even worse WOW) raise them like the majority of parents in this nation do. Then again these same people need to learn to become more responsible with their lives, if you don't have time to raise your kids properly then you shouldn't conceive them at all period.
You do realize that once something is in public records it's there for good. And guess what that fingerprint database is a public record until a law or court case says otherwise.
public records laws are SOO messed up that there is even a large court case going on in Wisconsin right now about whether or not parents have the right to request a teacher's e-mail history. As a matter of fact it will be going to the Wisconsin supreme court in a matter of weeks.
