New to game ... looking for info and a corp

Hello everyone, I just purchased eve online from steam and have just finished installing and hope to be able to log in sometime tomorrow after work.

 

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of a group of people that can help give info here and in game as well as a corp..

 

My play style will be pvp centric

    do the game tutorials (f12: career agents). do each one it helps to learn the systems and its decent isk (money).

    the rookie channel and your noobie corp chat cannels(you have both by default) are a good place to ask questions but do some legwork first by reading some tutorials.
