CO has more extras like wings, head types, ecc but lacks weapon customizations, a REAL robe not a mix of cloths that look similar but not much and some masks/heads that CoX has like the jester mask/hat/whatever

CO weapons can be customized once you go to a tailor, just not during initial creation.  That is, of course, if tailors were fixed so you had a preview of the weaponss before purchasing the changes.

CO slightly edges CoX for, imho, 2 reasons.  1, it allows you to use 4 colors on a given costume part.  2, you can choose little accessories in a layering sort of fashion (still doesn't match swg in that respect).  Otherwise, Variety of costume piece is just that, variety.

    No cigar in CO.

Otherwise it's all it should be.

    Hi,

As a CoX players here my thoughts on the most noticeable areas

    CO

    - more "volumetric" costume parts ( like the CoX vanguard armor, Sinister/Justice armor or Samurai )

    - accessory  to put on legs, arms, belt

    - extra items to put on chest ( like CoX vanguard /cyborg chest piece )

    - asymetrical colors / costume parts choices ( you can have two kinds of feet items ) and 4 colors choice ( not in all items )

    - extremly low choice in the skin+tight top category ( like 5 differents bikini but looking the same and some tank top )

    - a lot of clipping issue with some items

    - back items

    - few jackets

    CoX

    - more options overall but a good part is out of fashion

    - more shirts items

    - much more tight+skin items

    - more jackets

    - more mouth items

    - more eyes items ( goggles etc )

Fashion wise CO is nice, CoX is still very good but it has years of wardrobe upgrades.

actualy most of the extra option that CoX had can be replicated by changing the material type from cloth to leather on tight and then changing the type of leather you want (studded and such).

Did the CTB for like one day and spent it playing around with the character maker. Alot of whats in COX can be found in CO. Cept COX is a little more polished then CO. I made a hero that looked almost exactly like the one I had in COX. So they are about on par with each other.

In CO you can just about adjust everything (Certain head models won't allow adjustment).  CoH/V has more models to choose from.  Right now I BARELY put CoH/V as a better character creation cusomization.  In one or two updates CO will easily out do CoH/V!

I personally think CO will outfashion CoX soon. Its merely the beginning stages yet it provided so much customization options which is awesome. Its even cheaper too! There's only ONE CON about CO's female head model. No matter what you do, it's the same kind - stretched, wide, ect.. you can't make it look like someone else :( They should provide a couple of heads to choose from lol. That model isn't exactly cute imo :P
