DAoC is by far the best game out! why play anything else??

  • Uber realistic graphic (Catacombs)
  • A ton of interresting races/classes
  • Great community, with 2000 ppl on top servers, prime time
  • Only ppl with experience playing the game (no l22t pwn children)
  • Huge PvE and PvP dungeons
  • Lots of landscape, from diffrent cultures and myths
  • Underwater worlds
  • lvls from 1-50 / Masterlvls from 1-10 (very hard) / ToA gear that can lvl
  • RvR (realm vs. ream) with frontlines, castles to conqure and relics to protect
  • Realm Rank system that can make you famous on the server as Einherjar ore Emerald Rider
  • PvP server

I just cant get tired of this game... ppl here talk alot about eq wow etc. etc. but none about Daoc (in my opinion the only great mmorpg atm.)

Wow sucks for 2 reasons in my opinion... the community is filled with children and new ''mmorpg'' players... and the pvp is nothing compared to RVR...

    If you will look it that way then you can say everytime .. it's filled with children and new mmorpg hunters by every game! .. that's just such a dumb answer.. Well.. Catacoms just .. dunnow sucks.. I played DAoC 2 or 3 times and it was hell boring.. just my opinion i shall say..

    If your looking for really good mmorpgs go look to the starters, Redmoon as example or Ragnarok.. also a very good game.. or whatever. The old mmorpgs made the basics and those basics haven't been droven further yet.. It's always the same.. only with other stories.. Dun tell me about races or skills cause it's just the same! .. There ain't no different genre of MMORPG yet.. mmorpg will be the same.. you can't say that mmorpg sucks this is better .. all the mmorpgs are mostly the same (cept the graphics etc) but it's just the feeling you like to play it..

    I played DAoC from the beginning, its RvR was nothing much then either, WoWs PvP is very unfinished at the moment. DAoCs beginning was full of leet kiddies and MMo noobs too, matter of fact DAoC is dominated by leet jerks and thier bots today...terrible community IMO, yes there are some good people playing it though.

    DAoCs time has come and gone, it had potential to be so much more but to to many bad decisions by the devs have ruined what could have been. DAoC is nothing more then a nich game and as long as it keeps around 10k(17kish now)US primetime subs then Mythic will throw some bones to keep the income going.

    If you like it ..thats just fine, enjoy it and dont listen to me and the thousands of others who spoke up about the bad mythic decisions with our wallets and feet...You said no one posts about DAoC here? maybe there is a reason.

    Heh.. I played that game since 3 months after release, And i just recently quit

    And yes, I cant find anything i repeat ANYTHING to replace the fun i had on it- Pre Toa

    It just got worse every time they patched it.. Making changes

    And i just said screw it and left after i played catacombs beta
