Explain please. What makes this better then games like Darkfall?

I have not played darkfall, but in UO you can put things on the ground!
I would wonder if it is about better or just being the original oldschool PvP MMO. The guys that made Darkfall started in UO and the whole full-loot PvP idea that differentiates Darkfall from most other MMO's today stems from UO.
On a more practical level: UO has skill caps as far as I know, something that DF is missing. You can have every skill maxed out over time in DF. So on the long run most characters will be the same in what they can do.
I myself did not play UO as I had no idea about MMOs existence back then, so what I wrote is what I learned (and hopefully remembers right) from the guys in my guild that did.

I wish all other games allowed the same.
Go look at the feature list of both games after reading through the paragraph AV gives you to read on DF you will be impressed with the massive list of features and shit you could do in UO.
UO is a 12 year old game so if your a new sandbox gamer the graphics and combat may turn you off right away.
