Apparently the devs are going to make kick ass animations for Earthrise. A Dev recently answered a question about what is being done about the poor animations that was shown in the old gameplay video released.
"We are working on making the animations in Earthrise even better than the rest of the game, the game will not launch without that and you will see this improvement in our next gameplay video. When the video is coming? - When we are happy with all improvements that were made after April."

When you think about how amazing the game already looks, together with an impressive list of features long awaited by thousands of players, it sure sounds like Earthrise will be an amazing game when it releases! Im back on the fanboi-list!
... and guys.... here we have devs that actually listen to their potential customers...? Do we love Masthead or what?
Now... give us Mass Effect combat system......

if a company listens to its fan base and works with the fan base to help improve the game or find bugs then the company is worth my money and time. Fan base is life for some games i truely wanna see earthrise do great, fallen earth is doing well i'm impressed with FE and the company listens and interactives with its fan base and i see Earthrise doing that as well. i look forward to see the new video when its released

Is this not the developer i just read over the last week is having serious money problem?If it is ,then money problems =zero polish ,they will struggle to get the game out at all.I could be wrong,but off the top of my head i can't think of too many other titles ,other than maybe Fallen Earth and i'm sure it wasn't them.

I have no clue what you are talking about? Masthead dont have any money problem, thats for sure.
I haven't heard anything about MastHead having money problems. Interplay is having major problems, and Interplay wanted to work with MastHead on project V13 (Fallout mmo), but Earthrise is independent of any of that.
Masthead never has released information concerning their financial situation. All we know is that they are funded by an independent source which is unknown. So.. Please do not say silly things about MS financial situation because only MS knows that and no one else. Which is a great thing because it is none of our business to know that kind of information.
Second... I am still wondering what is their EST of time of release. I am doubt it will be some time in 2009. Unless are planning on to release a massive amount of information and open up closed beta to allow more people within the coming 3 months left in 2009. I still have faith in MS making a full and complete game, with plenty of gameplay. Masthead Studios has only ways been professional about Earthrise and releasing information. Even though the last gameplay footage panicked many Earthrise fans.
I am hoping this next gameplay footage is more though out and has big red letters saying BETA FOOTAGE! Not final product and still open to change!
i dont think there our any money issues i heard nothing plus there news on it. might be thinking of the the guys makeing mortal online...................................yeah pay for beta......thats a load of crap right there.
