I'm a teenager in high school looking for a fun game to play (that's free). I'm asian so you can imagine how much of my time would be playing this game =P I'd also like a nice and friendly guild to join that uses vent/ts. The reason is because I can't play a game without friends or it gets boring. The reason for vent/ts is because I'd rather just talk than type =P I live in North Carolina, so a guild in the EST timezone would be better =P
Computer specs:
3.00ghz dual cpu
4gb of ram
Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT Graphics Card with 1GB of RAM
Really good internet connection =P
Thanks for the help =D

I have been trying to put together a small band for Zu Online.
I do have vent and stuff, and Zu is free.
I went through about 18 F2P games and it was a toss up between Ether saga and Zu Online. In the end Zu won out due to its fast leveling and no grind.
Plus I really dig cell shaded art and the heavy influences of Chinese culture they have in the game.
I just checked out Zu's website, and the graphics are a little too "cartoonish" for me =P I did play Maplestory for a while though, which might be contradictory =P I also wouldn't want to level THAT fast xD
Thing about Zu is the level cap is like 250+ I think.
3 days I made it to level 60 which gave me the basis for all my skills and allowed me to explore a little, but I find it to be slowing down a ton now. Like last night I only got 2 levels.
It was just a thought, I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Zu either, until I actually tried it. It turned out for me at least to be the best of the F2P games.
Well I just registered and i'm downloading it now, it'll be done in 15-30mins =P
I can't say I don't like a game without trying it first, so i'll give it a shot xD
My e-mail is chanticleer971@hotmail.com, add me on MSN.
To everyone else, i'll still try other games =D
Just remember, You can't play Zu like a typically asian grinder.
You have to follow the little noobie quest and read a lot in the game.
The quest are kinda generic as mmo's go, bring me x these, kill x times these, kill this bad guy and bring me his head.
But just standing in one spot and grinding out exp will not work in this game.
Trust me I tried, you get much further and better geared by just following the quest. There are ample amounts of them for all levels I have come across so far.
As far as graphics go, I never looked at it as cartoony, I looked at it as playing a living breathing wall scroll. That is what is reminds me of in game, Like a chinese scroll painting and you are walking around in it.
If you like it, and would like to try and build a guild on it, I would be willing to give it a go. I have enough money and the level required to form a guild. Course you will be to in about 2 days :P
f2p
ddo is a popular game (dungeon and dragon online)
Well I just got it installed and everything. So i'm logging on right now. My IGN is Chanticleer, or will be in a min at least. So if you want to get on and talk to me there or use MSN/vent, then whisper me in game ^_^ Wish me luck XD
And if I do like this game, maybe we can make a guild together =P
Also, which faction/class are you? =P
Sounds good, I am actually at work right now.
Soon as I get home tonight, I will be in game, my name in game is Raiza-jinn.
I will PM you the ventrilo server information.
Ok, i'm in game and in the ventrilo server.
I guess i'll talk to you later on tonight.
Well what do you think so far? Are the graphics unbearable?
I tuned my graphics all the way to max with max anti alias and everything, and they look pretty clean to me.
The graphics are better looking ingame than on some screenshots I saw =P
The game itself seems a little odd. You level really fast, as you said. But you get a skill every 9levels, give or take? And my god there are a lot of quests. lol
edit: I actually just remember to go rank-up all my skills. So I guess not getting a ton of skills is ok =p
