Do you agree with this Australian Politician's view on Asylum Seekers?

Background:

This politician is talking about Dongas, which means temporary housing.  More like caravans on stils.  At the time that the asylum seekers were being moved into them, they were completley vacent.  These women and children were stranded on the water, and part of their ship exploded, killing 4 of them.

So the government gave them temporary asylum in the Dongas.  This clip you are about to see showcases the shadow minister argueing against such a thing.

Many have come out in support of his ferocity against this, and many have opposed his stance.

Either way, he tends to get fairly angry as he talks about the asylum seekers being placed in dongas.

What do you think? Did he have the right or wrong approach?

The real villian is the regime that causes people to need asylum.

Why isn't the focus on these evil regimes, instead of countries like Australia where no one needs to run away and get asylum?

Why doesn't the UN work to rid the world of these evil regimes that cause people to flee and seek asylum? Oh yea, those regimes run the UN.
