Remember also they are upgrading servers to hold more people per server so wouldn't be surprised if it dropped to "recommended" or "low" due to increase in capacity.
Xfire numbers showed a general decline for everyone over the last few days to a week and I haven't seen an update from MMOdata for the end of this month yet but the bottom line is until I see a significant decrease in subs or activity, I'm sure as hell not going to take the word from someone who is disgruntled for whatever reason and my guess is still playing, and decided to post on the boards after seeing "recommended" as opposed to "full" on the servers 1) at 12:30am CST, 2) After the servers have been upgraded to stop queue times. 3) After additional servers have been added. 4) When "recommended" is only a generalization telling us it's not "high" and not some sort of serious measurement of capacity.
Have to agree on every word,. I can most often feel a part of the community happily wait for a game to realse so they can begin to bash it. And for what? Make some random user upset or to create a name for themself on a forum? Or becuse they have waited so long for the game to fix their mmo fix ?
It happend to TR, AOC, WAR, LOTRO, DFO and now Aion. I guess it will happen to Fallen Earth as well when the mob will learn that there is quite many players that truly enjoy the game.
Its getting close to octo 22nd and over 50% of the server is low and recommended, its bleeding of players...... Damn i was not suprised there.
I know 4 people personally who have effectively binned the game, as did I. Pitifully shallow, simplistic game, same old quests, same old levelling system, no replayability whatsoever, yet they expect people to pay for it!
It's everything people have complained about when they grumble that game designers just warm up a rehash of existing game mechanics, then serve it up as groundbreaking and interesting. I'm not surprised the server populations are plummeting either, as modern gamers are far less inclined to be happy with a "copy/paste" game that has been tarted up with some eye candy.

I believe you are mistaken or simply cant read. We've already come to the conclusion that the empty servers is a lie.
The fact is the servers are still full and bustling with happy players

XFire peak for Aion was around 81k hours. Now it has dropped to around 41k.
So about a 50% drop in played hours but keep in mind that other games, like Champion Online, dropped to 1/6th of its peak after one month.
By that regard I would say the game is going pretty well but a WoW contender it is not.
Aion is dead, etc. etc. Nothing to see here move along. You will have the remaining leftover players who think its amazing, just like the half-braindead remaining AoC players. Leave them be! They did nothing to hurt you.
It's such a shame, I loved this game in CB, but only got to level 16. When I hit 20 after release, the grind really kicked in. I made it to 25 but I have no compulsion to login, ever. I just canceled my account.

Hence why the game will fail. Casuals will never reach 30, nevermind 50.

Yeah it's dead after a years success in Asia and having the highest ratings in it's first month than almost any MMO. You're one of the ones holding onto the above mentionted AoC accounts aren't you? Come on...admit it.
Imo lots of games this size which will inevitably pull in large numbers of initial subscribers will bleed a lot of them like many games after the first few months. I read somewhere about the average mmo player sticking with their game for only 3 months, the question will be if they can level out at an acceptable number and get new recruits to replace the loses. I would hazard a guess that Aion also had a larger than average number of players that still play WoW try it out, which I think can only make it worse, noone leaves that wowcrack for good
The reviews have all been pretty good and I hope they keep a loyal following it would be nice to see where they take the direction of the game in the future.

We are not Korea? Who excactly are we, Im from Sweden and not an american which I assume is what you mean with "we".
He could be from Sweden too, or from another part of Europe. Pardon him for ever lumping you together with these stupid Americans; Yamota, the savage samurai viking of Sweden, has no American equal.
This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed.

On Europe 11 servers are full, so it can't be that bad, considering it is not yet "rush hour".
This is one of the funniest things I think I've ever read.
This wasn't worth the effort the OP took to type it. It's basically FAIL. Really? A 12:30am shot of servers showing 'recommended'?
Please...
That would be 10:30PM PST.
One would think that at 10:30pm at least one of the West Coast servers would be high.

So yeah..no..sorry not any sort of accurate assesment of the success or lack thereof in the game....failed argument.
18:12 in Europe. Not even prime time since it will be alot more ppl at 19:30 and beyond
Far from dieing or abandonement i would say.
I would love for a picture of the American servers around the same time of day

Nice troll

Sad indeed, but quite funny to see as well.

I am quite sure in the long run Aion will loose a big chunk of their players. Aion is just too much still of an Asian grinder.

I didn't know there was a 'High'. I thought it was just Low, Recommended and Full.
- RPG Quiz - can you get all 25 right?
- FPS Quiz - how well do you know your shooters?

I enjoyed the first weeks but it started with the left leg, spammers, bots, queues and NCSoft can't understand that we are not Korea!
I will be back if they at least they reads the changes that propose Curse's founder, right now I am back to LOTRO.
