Your just ranting. Which parts of my post are full of shit? Be specific. Is there something I am saying that isn't true? If so speak your mind. You present the same rhetoric that many others before you have already attempted while completely dodging the 10 issues that I have presented. When confronted face to face with the facts Darkfallians seem to dodge the issues and attempt to indoctrinate people with the propaganda that has been handed down by their their leaders.
90% of your complaints are about core design revolving around FFA PvP and full loot. Enough said. Oh, that nad you only made an account here to bash darkfall. Maybe you should grow up?

Graphics are not good, but there is a reason for that and its to allow mass number of players that fight for a city without lagging and a huge world with no instance and 10 000 players can log in, but we didnt reach that number yet, but we will.

hacks and program bug, well 1st of all, any games got hackers and bugs. Hackers get banned and bugs get fixed and its not a rich company like blizzard if you still dont know. Atleast, we dont have gold farmers bot spammers.
Whats funny is that you try to review an mmorpg when you didnt even reach mid game, but you still stock at goblin lol and you still think you can solo in DF. Trust me, you did nothing that DF really offer. Give the game a chance. You act like players that reviewed aion saying that its bad when they didnt even reach lvl 10. How can you review an mmorpg when you didnt even reach lvl 25 anyway?

Individuals can turn down graphic settings as neccessary for mass battles. I never have mentioned anything about the graphics anyways. Just the animations.

I think I got a better overall feel for the game by fighting/sparring real players then I did fighting goblins but that was just one small aspect of the gameplay. Read numbers 2 and 4 again for my major concerns with game play and game mechanics.

The main tactic that I see used around here is personal attacks. I don't know why it makes people so mad that I just point out the obvious. I have even provided proof. It seems as if people would just rather turn a blind eye with the problems that will ultimately make this game unsuccessful then to deal with the issues.
I agree that you should not play DFO.
I'm not going to waste time explaining to you why my experience is different from your own. There is no emperical truth to be found here, or in any game. It's a game; one that is obviously not for you. Thanks for sharing.

My top ten reasons not to play Darkfall (in no particular order):

I'm not talking about blades, either. When I played my first month, nearly everyone used auto-loot, many were hiding in walls, and quite a few were moving super-fast.

Ranting.......You made a list of reasons why other people (who may be interested in the game) shouldnt buy Darkfall and to top that off your list is full of shit that is personal preference rather fact....
1.You dislike 3rd person animations....Join the club, i dont think the animations are great but i dont hate em and most importantly they dont subtract from the gameplay....But some people may love the animations...its all preference and has no place in a post about 10 reasons why a person shouldnt buy a product.
2.You dislike the run speed in darkfall....now im assuming you mean you dont like the fact the world is gigantic because i see no problem at all with the run speed...we all run at the same rate...we all move in mounts at the same rate....we all get from point A-B at generally the same rate...dunno what to tell ya.....The world is gigantic and it may take some time to get from point A-B but thats a feature that i dont think anyone has a problem with...tons of places to farm safely if you find the right place...this is a plus and certainly no reason for someone to avoid Darkfall.
3.Complaint number 3.......you got ganked get over it...Darkfall isnt a place for idiots..make your char and be very aware of your enviroment...Im pretty sure if your thinking of buying darkfall your well aware of the fact that youll get gankd a few times hell maybe even alot if your not carefull.No reason to avoid Darkfall seeing as how 99% of the people who bought it understood the risk/rewards of a ffa full loot game....
4.Tons of places to skill up......Darkfall isnt a place for idiots....Noob towns are generally unsafe at peak hours...make your char and hit the road and come back at a safer date if you wanna do the quest. This is actually a big plus because it offers a huge i mean huge variety of camps a person can level his skills up at not to mention PvP....
5.No Future...Darkfall is already 1 expac in and were getting a 2nd free expac in about 2 weeks or less which is gonna include some nice fixes and changes like racial abilities for all races....forecast seems sunny to me.
6.3rd person view options are locked at a certain range to implement the sense of awareness a normal person therefore leaving him/her to use his hearing and a more than optimal view range.i myself consider this a Huge Plus i love the fact that i stand a chance to get away if one persons on me.
7.Crashes and Kicks....have had no experience with this at all....im stuck on EU till xfers come and i havnt even had lag problems...not gonna call you a liar but maybe you have specific and isolated issues...certainly no reason others should avoid DF because of Your personal problem.
8.Autoloot....You cant loot a hundred items at once....i personally put all my things in a bag so if ya ganked me you wouldnt have that prob but as far as the intention behind autoloot....pretty simple no ninja looting....i love it myself but of course its preferential...why its on your list of 10 reasons why Not to but DF baffles me...
9.Hacks and Bugs.....Havnt experienced any myself so cant comment on it as far as bugs its a twitch mmo hosting thousands of players at once...im sure there are bugs i cant tell you of any specific ones but what game doesnt have em.....
10. UI.....personally hate it...personally my problem and wouldnt be fair to tell someone not to buy Darkfall because of it....
You dont like darkfall man and thats all good believe me i have zero issues with that...But 10 reasons why not to buy darkfall outta be factual and not a list of things u personaly do not like.

Ok, listen. You should just never try a paid beta game again once in your life. Darkfall, its like the game that is currently lacking in the gaming world at the moment and not only we really like the game because its great for us, but we also try to support it to make him become finally a perfect and complete game.
1st days of darkfall, darkfall sucked so hard that many players quit including me, but for me, it was because of the grind. Some that wanted to still play didnt want DF to die so they supported the game. Today, darkfall is good enough to really have fun in that game only for those who really wanted that kind of sandbox game that is currently lacking in our world like i said. you didnt play UO it seem, you are not sick of instances or BG's or unkillable players or whatever so you dont have the same vision as us. You think the game will die, but you rather wish it will. I also wish that runescape will die because its also not my style, but it still a alive, but i didnt had to go post my opinion in their forum and say at the end that RS will die.
Anyway... My question still stand. What game did you play or do you currently play because i checked your profile and you didnt list any game. Without any game, no one can take you seriously so if you are not going to mention something, quit it alreadly.
The mass battle, no instance, huge world are the reason why DF got poor animation. Its not hard to make perfect animation, but it cost. Look at Age of conan. Perfect animation, but load of instance that made the game sux. The less animation, the more content you can add in a mmorpg without instances.
About user interface, just try to get use to it. This is the mmofps way and not target way like wow. The only thing left it would need is the mouse wheel option to switch weapons. Nothing else.
You spent the same amount of time as a game reviewer in DF? go tell that to ed zitron from eurogamer. If you didnt heard of him, you should check his review and how tasos responded to him and how the DF communoty responded to him on youtube. Like ed zitron, you basically give the game a 2/10 and you compar it with other theme park mmorpg just like he did. He lost the respect of all the gamers after that and not only the DF players BTW.

Im not playing nor i have any idea how this game is. I might try it when they release a trial. Im currently playing another mmorpg. But i cant dismiss the fact that the OP has indeed created this account for the sole purpose of flaming this game. So OP that doesn't look good when you try to "warn" people for not trying the game. I like reading those kind of posts cause through them you learn the cons of a game, but your post OP doesn't seem neutral enough so we, the ones that dont play this game, can trust your judgement.

I think anyone can come up with 10 reasons not to buy a product...i can come up with 10 for WOW,AOC,Lotro,etc....But they would all be preferential reasons...not hating on wow or aoc or lotro... personally i think there all quality products with more pluses then cons and can completely understand these games seeing huge followings but they never captured what im personally looking for in a mmorpg...
Darkfall delivers...but hopefully AV will get around to some sorta trial because i know a lot of people would give it a shot and no doubt imo that alot will stay....

So you're okay with MY 10 reasons for why I think nobody should buy Darkfall? They're pretty factual, after all... (See post #7; yes, I am aware that there were follow-up posts that rectified some problematic elements in my post and I believe these to be legitimate rectifications, but the better part of my 10 reasons still holds and I think them solid reasons not to buy Darkfall, still.)
I agree. Here is my top 10 reasons
1. You can't fly and fight like ballerinas. How can anyone even make a game without these features in 2009.
2. Animations. What matters in a modern mmo is graphix, animation and the number of dancemoves your char can do. Gameplay is sooo ten years ago.
3. No safezones. Like someone have the right to kill me just because I smacktalk and behave like an asshat.
4. No epic weapon/armor. What reason is there to play if I can't race for new epic weapon and armor? Ohh and your weapons have durabilities so you lose it when it wears out. Epic fail.
5. Open pvp. WTF? Everybody know pvp happens in a battleground. Two teams with equal numbers fight eachother, and the team with most epics win. No need to re-invent the wheel.
6. Build and decorate a privat house. Who want to do this shit. I wont even clean my room when my mom yells at me.
7. Build, sail and fight with ships. So I bought a ship simulator now? DF suck so bad they had to build a minigame into it.
8. Char customization. They are just ugly. Male chars in new mmo should look feminine like real metrosexual men do.
9. Sieges. This suck big time. Someone can take your city for good. They should make it like Alterac Valley so I got my city back after an hour.
10. Full-loot. WTF? Do they think people accually like real PVP with risk and reward?
I could add tons more, but these are the top 10.

You lose your life defending and flaming games so the companies can make money. Like they gonna give you part of those money... You are a free advertisement for them. Even the flame posts are advertisement for any game. Flaming draws people into the game.

1) There are less players because a massive amount of people quit the game after 3 months due to losing. Yes, most players quit after they lost a major offenseive case in point: Hyperion, Dusk, and CotC all lost a massive amount of members due to losing wars (some quit other just joined different clan). Have people quit due to other issues, yes. Have people started coming back? Yes. Do most MMO players know about this game? No.
2) Speed is realitive and that post does nothing to show how slow mounts are. The apporx size of the land in the game is 240km^2, or roughly 4x as large as one of WoWs main areas. The main land is about 180km^2 and it take 20 mins to tranverse the entier mainland (going from the edge of tribe lands to the edge of ork lands). That is not slow.
3) Hacks are legit complaint although most of the time they aren't used in PvP, at least not hacks that you can prove were the reason you died.
4) Huamn animation looked fine to me. Maybe you should run on flat ground next time?
5) UI is the way it is due to the fact the game has 1st and 3rd person view. MO and FE have very similar UIs for the same reasons. Your point is mute on that issue.
6) Newbie experience is harsh like it should be becuase the game is an FFA Full Loot PvP game. It takes a person with forethought just a couple days to get used to this aspect of the game, maybe a week if all you've ever played is WoW. Darkfall, like all Full loot games, reward smart players. If you don't like it then DFO will never be for you and neither will a game like EvE or MO.Besides this fact, it takes 1-2 months for a PvP maxed character, just like every game on the market. Again, point is moot.
