    1. Dark Age of Camelot

    2. Star Wars Galaxies before they mangled it

I don't have a third one sadly.  Haven't really enjoyed anything since those 2 to think them worth mentioning in the same conversation.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

1 and 2, on pretty much the same level. WoW in BC and L2 in C2.

    3. D&DO gave me a pleasant surprise and it's actually quite fun.

EQ for PvE, WAR for PvP. (I missed the DaOC era, sadly)

    WoW 1.0 for polish.

EVE, conceptually. I don't do sci-fi, but wish so DEARLY that these guys would generate a fantasy universe with avatars rather than ships....

That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc.
We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be.
So - Stand up, pull up your pants, and walk away.

    1) CoX - Played for four years and really enjoyed the friends I made.  The community was the best.  Teaming was great, the action was fast and fluid.  They ruined it for me when the Mission Architect went live and the farming began.

    2) LotRO - When I was inbetween games, I tried a lot of the trials that are available.  Since I hadn't played since beta, I thought I would try out LotRO again.  I'm still there (with a little hiatus to CO, which was a mistake)  The game has the second best community, behind CoX, in any MMO I've played.  I'm really enjoying my time in Middle Earth.

    3) Wizard 101 - I know, I know...a kid's game, but the fun factor is still there.  The game has some interesting combat, and the different cards that are available are nice.  The graphical animations of the combat are great.  The community isn't that great (hey its a bunch of kids), but I did manage to find a few adults to hang out with.  All in all, a great little game from an Indy publisher.  The support for the game is second to none.
