My top three favorite MMORPG'S that I have yet to find a better time in a new game are the following :
1. Everquest pre LDoN
2. Ultima Online
3. Dark age of Camelot
Noteworthy mentions : Final Fantasy XI, Ragnarok Online
Comments
in no particular order:
Pre CU SWG
Vanilla WOW 40 man rading
EVE Online every day i play it
I don't have a third one sadly. Haven't really enjoyed anything since those 2 to think them worth mentioning in the same conversation.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
1 and 2, on pretty much the same level. WoW in BC and L2 in C2.
3. D&DO gave me a pleasant surprise and it's actually quite fun.
Everquest 1 (best at ROK)
Everquest 2 (best at kos)
Warhammer (RVR pve sucks in this game)
strang list, i know, but all given me fun at difrente times
1. Shadowbane
2. Everquest before SoD
3. Ultima Online
Also Dark Age of Camelot is quite high on my top MMORPG's too.
In no particular order:
1. Tabula Rasa (I got a lot of fun out of TR)
2. EVE Online
3. Fallen Earth (it's an early title, but it really is one of the few MMOs I enjoy)

The following statement is false
The previous statement is true
1. Runescape
2.Eve online
3.Atlantica online
Really the only games i enjoyed and played for a while.
EQ, DAoC, City of Heroes
Everquest, there aren't any other MMORPGs worth listing
EQ for PvE, WAR for PvP. (I missed the DaOC era, sadly)
WoW 1.0 for polish.
EVE, conceptually. I don't do sci-fi, but wish so DEARLY that these guys would generate a fantasy universe with avatars rather than ships....
That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc.
We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be.
So - Stand up, pull up your pants, and walk away.

The middle one is a little out there i know, and I bet most have no clue about it. But it was my first MMO...so....
1) CoX - Played for four years and really enjoyed the friends I made. The community was the best. Teaming was great, the action was fast and fluid. They ruined it for me when the Mission Architect went live and the farming began.
2) LotRO - When I was inbetween games, I tried a lot of the trials that are available. Since I hadn't played since beta, I thought I would try out LotRO again. I'm still there (with a little hiatus to CO, which was a mistake) The game has the second best community, behind CoX, in any MMO I've played. I'm really enjoying my time in Middle Earth.
3) Wizard 101 - I know, I know...a kid's game, but the fun factor is still there. The game has some interesting combat, and the different cards that are available are nice. The graphical animations of the combat are great. The community isn't that great (hey its a bunch of kids), but I did manage to find a few adults to hang out with. All in all, a great little game from an Indy publisher. The support for the game is second to none.
