So, I recently found a game that looks like i will be amazing, Vanguard. It's been out for sometime now, but i finally tried it....my problem -> my machine just plain all in all sucks.... so I guess my question would be are there any games similar to Vanguard (aside from anarchy online) that requires less out of the machine?

Thanks

The only game similar to Vanguard is EQ.

Shame that both games get 0 support from SoE. They're busy milking their consumers and making their 20th fail MMO.

Heroes of Telara looks a bit like Vanguard, long way from release though, check it out.

The game specs have been out for some time. Perhaps you should have read them.

Please post your specs here: Processor G Card (RaM), system RAM and speed, HD (speed most importantly), and OS.

Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom.

Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside

    Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR.

Don't talk bull, I still have an EQ account and played EQ for years. EQ went from almost 20 developers to less than 6.

The next expansion has been prosponed by 2 months. The expansion won't be a full expansion but a partial one with content in parts instead of all at once. EQ is full of bugs, can't get anything done or fixed, developers have been used for Free Realms instead of EQ and bugs like raid zones with free loot in SoD are still not fixed.

50/51 server? That took 2 minutes to set up, the only thing they had to do is give players another starting lvl and 50 AA.

For the price you have to pay to play EQ, the support is terrible.

Even something as simple as merging the servers isn't done because they're too busy with other games.

They still patch? They went from bi-monthly patches to a patch every other month, while the standard price for EQ has remained the same and they even added costs with the marketplace.
