Stargate Worlds: Five New Screenshots

Five new screenshots of Stargate Worlds have surfaced on the official Stargate Worlds website. The screenshots depict a number of new armor and weapons for the Goa’uld, Jaffa, Soldier, and Scientist.

The Stargate team has also released a statement thanking their fans for their continued support:
We know you expect nothing less than the AAA content in Stargate Worlds our development team is working hard to give you along with some additional exciting news we will be revealing very soon! We want to thank everyone for their continued support and passion for Stargate Worlds and we can’t wait to show you more of what we’ve been cooking up over here.
Each of these armor sets will have unique traits that make them ideal for certain situations. As players become familiar with each world and the various environments they will encounter, they will discover which sets of armor best suit their play style.

I'm glad to see there's still life in this game, and the characters actually look really good. I hope they can defy all the obstacles and get a decent game released in the end.
Definitely. I'm a more casual Stargate fan, but I was really excited when this game was first announced, and it's been hard even for me to hear about all the trouble it's been having. Good to see something after all this time.
Wow, all I can say is wow. As in it looks like they borrowed some of the modeling staff from wow.
The characters in several shots look way out of wack. Im sorry if thats the best they can offer. I am now officially done with this game.
Several screeshots were cheesy at best i could tell it was sg1 in on shot. And the pictures of the ladies, well we can tell what set that theya re aimed at. the boys.
I have never seen a game die such a long drawn out death as this one, if they manage to not only release but release a good game I will be shocked!
I really want this game to work, but good god how many problems can 1 game have?
Its Lazarus! it keeps coming back from the dead. I'm truly amazed that they are still working on it, never mind thinking about launching it. But if they have come this far then the gods must be smiling down on them. No pun intended.

I beta tested this game for many months before the plug was pulled. So next time you go on a binder and slaughter the English language in doing so, perhaps you should evaluate the distinct possibility you have no !@#$ clue what you're talking about.

This does not even look like SG. Sense when did humans wear full metal body armor?
I have to agree here. I looked through the screenshots and all I could think of was, "Wait, what MMO is this again?"
Definitely not a good sign when you can't even associate screenshots with the IP it's based on.
All of the new screen shots look nothing like Stargate...In fact, those five screenshots look like they could each be part of a completely different game.

A couple of fair comments, but wait, what do humans wear in SG? As far as I know Army fatigues are Army fatigues, the game would be a bit boring if every single piece of equipment looked the same as the 2 or 3 different outfits you'd expect to see on an SG Team.
If the game designers stuck true to the TV series everyone would be moaning about the lack of imagination.
This game may just have a snowballs chance in hell afterall. Hey, good for them if they can pull it off. That to me shows some damn hard work and dedication.

well i hope they figure out a way to get a GOOD game out sometime. i played a little bit in beta and enjoyed what i played other than the continual crashing , but that could have been my computer. been a big fan of SG for a while and would love to play it.
currently playin "fallen earth" which is a fun game so far, but has alot of bugs they need to work out
Trinium is supposed to be 100 times stronger than steel. If they found enough of it, it could make plate body armor practical.
The graphics did look pretty darned stupid, though.
