Yep same here. (Well not the buzzed part.) No notice of it either so I hope it was not a major crash or anything.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it but the Mirkwood preview just ended about an hour ago.
Not sure about the regular maintenance part. I been playing DDO again for about a month around this time of night and haven't ran into this downtime before.
The problem with checking out the website to see what is wrong is that it is down too.
Yah that's why I posted here hoping some other gamers who play DDO might have an idea what's goin on, heh.
I was online when it fell over, that was around 2 and a half hours ago.
Was trying to kill the final boss in tomb of the wizard king on epic, was the first time I had ever done an epic quest.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck Purple. Well since we cannot play lets at least introduce ourselves and make some friends. I usually play Minninite on the Khyber server. I am the rather unusual combo of a warforged Wizard with a greatsword.
Am able to access the ddo forums now.

Why the hell can't the whiners comprehend this?
Ironic since I play on Khyber server too. I have several characters I have been trying out. I was playing a single class rogue until I found it hard to find groups since it seemed that so many multi-classed with 1 or 2 lvls in rogue so it became hard to get invites to groups. Reason is it seems that those people think they dont need a rogue just because they have 1 or 2 lvls of rogue. So I tried cleric but found it hard to solo so I made a multi-class monk/cleric which works really well...until today someone said they wouldn't invite because they wanted a single class "full" cleric...
Oddly enough anyhow, the monk/cleric class does well solo-wise but like the rogue, hard to get group invites. I like a lot of the classes and changes in the game since it originaly came out, but it's hard finding regular groups or guilds. I have met quite a few that say "hey add me to friends" when they logoff, but in the end I hear from them maybe once in 2 wks, lol.
Heck look me up on the server sometime. Me and a couple of my friends play casually but youd be more than welcome to join in our misadventures trying to complete quests.
