Ok, i'm as n00b at this game as they come, previously i played 'eve' for 4 years. and 'mechwarrior' for MANY more years than 'eve. Infact I still play in the mechwarrior Hardcore league.
No this game does not have the gfx of 'eve', but neither does it have the number of dedicated programers or the vast budget, but it does have perfectly adequate gfx for an online 'space shooter / RPG' game. As with every online game, there are some people that at first seem a bit abrupt, but they soon chill if you stand your ground and don't act like a complete gimp.
Unlike a previous thread on here, I have found plenty of help with the game and TBH I love the group of people i've met whilst playing, i'd been playing only 2 days and was invited on a mission with a vastly more experienced group of players, they didn't have to invite me, they did it to help me gain more exp and lvl my stats up faster. NICE ONE GUYS 
My point is, if you have problems getting on with people here, then your going to have problems getting on with anyone in any online game.
I found the tutorials easy to complete, and after you finish those, if you ask NICELY people will advise you which missions to do for a while, and which ones to avoid until your skill levels increase.
All in all I love the game and will definately be subscribing to it.

Are you sure this game is not called Lost in Space? After reading your post..I surly don't want to play a game that needs someone to hold your hand to get around..

No-where do I state that you need someone to 'hold your hand', in this game . I merely state that if your confused or not sure about something, there's plenty of people in the game willing to help you. Some people can find they're own way around a new game, but some people, infact most people IMHO need some questions answered at some point when starting a game.
