well set up a pos in a class 2 wh for first time and was thinking well now will earn lots of isk. So for 5 days i mined arconor,bistot and gas clouds for about 4 hours a day and beyond that about a dozen sleeper sites. And when it came down to pay out well i was very disappointed in that 5 days work i made a bit more then 20 mil a day. In high sec i was making 50 mil a day with my hulk and manufacturing. and now my other account has just bought a hulk but has not been in wh nor mined as the alliance is in a war atm.
So last night i pulled my gas cloud miner, drake, ecm boat and mark 2 out of the wh with a note to the corp saying im out. This wh is economically unfeasible for me as i make more money in high sec.. Fundementally i did the math and just with gas cloud mining and arconor/bistot mining i had mined alone about 400mil and beyond that did about a dozen sleeper sites and a hacking site with 8 boxes. Someone is making a lot of isk but not me..
So obviously the moral of this story is when preparing a wh op the economy is quite important and a corp that wants to survive better think about its members and the work done or they will implode..
However i have not left the corp/alliance as until this operation things were quite good and fair. Will see if they work it out and if not well im history and will go back to and npc corp and in search of another corp which thinks about wh economy for all taking part in the op on a long term basis.
Any thoughts on wh economy appreciated as dt quite long with dominion implementation.

when we do c5/c6 WH ops in my corp, it's very lucrative, more than 0.0 plexing in fact (which is how i personally usually make my ISK).
after clearing a c5 WH, there are quite a tew tengu &friends to be sold.

So have I got this right: you produced about half a bill worth of ore and stuffs in 5 days. Your corp gave you 100 mill for it, effectively taxing you at 80%.
Yeah I'd say that the worhmole was fine and the problem lay in your corp.

Not to mention that a wh2 system is really low on the totem pole when it comes to corp ops. There are several dual or multi account users that do wh2's themselves. Were you solo'ing the sites? Do you have scanning skills? Something to think about if you do end up splitting.
Im not sure how you are taking a situation where you are unhappy with how your corp is splitting up profits from the WH and trying to make a global point about WH economy. Your issue has nothing to do with wormholes and everything to do with your corp.
In that situation you grow a pair and negotiate for more income with your corp.
You don't just bail.

Thanks for the replies it has given me food for thought. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. In this case not having the in game experience of whs i only could compare the economy in relationship to what i had been earning in high sec.
and no it was nt even a 100mil but 88 mil for 5 days work. in fact 1 fullerite cloud i mined had a market worth of 27000k per unit and i got a bit over 2k units from it
But one learns quickly and by ones mistakes i hope,and also has shown me the possibilities of whs and the riches to be found there. As it is now i pulled out with my mining skills as well gas cloud mining and see what they do when we get back online this evening.

You are in the wrong corp, mining the wrong holes.
My alliance has several holes from class 2 to class 5 and does both mining and sleeper ratting.
Haven't run into anyone who isn't making a tidy profit. Myself, I sleeper rat and made about 2B a month in my first 2 months with the corp. (our team tends run class 4's in small groups)

Its good advice to negotiate if you feel like the ceo / leaders are decent (or ops runner) but if charged ya 80-90% tax on earnings without beforehand agreement..well it makes yer rear pucker a bit, unless it was just a corp ops purely for corp earnings... but every ops I have been in was usually explained prior I joined.
