I am looking for a game like Runescape.

Hello, I am looking for a game like Runescape, hopefully it will be 3d like it, I dont want it to have really good graphics, but not really bad graphics either, Runescape is in the middle. I dont want it to be all about fighting like EO, and selling armor, but Runescape is about fighting, but you can do fun quests, games, craft, mine, and stuff like that. I dont want it to be really good graphics like Guild Wars, or SilkRoad, just a game like Runescape. Please Post any game that resembles Runescape, thanks!It can be anykind of game, but there has to be a free version, not pay to play, I dont mind if its pay to play for more features, thanks a lot!

    Honestly? I also say this with a grain of salt... Runescape is unique...

    Thats quite a demand.

    Basically, your asking for a free sandbox MMORPG. Good luck, most mmos revolve over combat n stuff.

     

    A good OFFLINE RPG would be elder scrolls Oblivion. Great stuff. Sandbox. And fun.

    I love how Runescape lets anyone be anything. You can be a warrior one day, mage the next, ranger the next, all on one character. Sorry to conform, but yup, runescape is one-of-a kind

    I was addicted to runescape for a long time...I would go back if it wasn't so.....................dumb or if there werent so many fcking scammers.

    Have played: RuneScape, EQ2 (free trial), Last Chaos, Silk Road, Dungeon Runners.
    Currently playing: RuneScape, Dungeon Runners.

    The notion that graphics, or anything else for that matter, are anywhere near as important as gameplay/fun is so utterly ridiculous that anyone who shares such a view should be placed in an asylum.

    For starters, the community is extremly immature. The graphics arent up to date (of course its JAVA based so) And hell, the sound is MIDI. Not really amazing.

    The gamplay (excluding combat) is great but doesn't live up with other mmos out there.

    And no, I didn't play it for 1 second and jumped to a conclusion. I have a lvl 58. After a while, It was time to move on.

    Sounds to me like you want Runescape.

    Perhaps there is some reason this obvious answer does not apply, in which case you'll need to tell us why not.

    closest free mmo that i can think of is mabinogi, but if you are not from europe, north america or australia, you cant play because of ip blocks.

    theres also:

    voyage century online - havent really played it that long, but there's crafting, mining, ships etc with 3d graphics

    ashen empire - also havent played it much, there's also lots of things to do and imo its the closest thing that looks like runescape graphic wise

    luminary - crafting, cooking, mining, farming, fishing etc. in cutesy 2d isometric view graphics
