Anyone find it funny FOM uses LithTech? :P

I just find it odd from the aesthetic point of view. Since FOM is coming out and so is The Matrix Online, both are using LithTech but MXO is using the far advanced DX9 LithTech 3 and FOM is using LithTech "Talon" which is apparently older (Copyright 2002???)
Not that either game sucks or rocks, I just find it a bit amusing.

If I'm not mistaken Monolith is the developer of the LithTech engine.

It could be something to do with the rights for the Lithtec Talon engine costing only like $10,000.
But lets face it it's the AvP 2 engine so will be fine.
