Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz Northwood Core Socket 478 800FSB Processor w/ 512KB Cache (OEM)
1GB, 184-pin DIMM, memory
eVGA e-GeForce 8400 GS Graphics adapter - 512 MB - GDDR2 SDRAM

Wouldn't be the greatest - but you could run it on low with shadows off - you're the one who asked about the video card, correct? That and you more memory too (its fairly cheap - all you need is another gig really) to be able to play it fairly well I think. From the way I understand it the low # nividia's (200s,300s,400s) aren't really optimized for gaming - while the higher ones 8800, 9800, etc are better for gaming.
more info on the memory plz? example: DDR2-800
you probably want to run on low-medium settings. also upgrade to 2gigs of memory and it should run well enough.

yes i am the one who posted about the graphics card.
and the memory is 1GB, 184-pin DIMM, DDR PC2700 memory module
Definitely need more RAM. At least 2GB, preferably 4.
Current: None
Played: WoW, CoX, SWG, LotRO, EVE, AoC, VG, CO, Ryzom, DF, WAR
Tried: Lineage2, Dofus, EQ2, CoS, FE, UO, Wurm, Wakfu
Future: The Repopulation, ArcheAge, Black Desert, EQN
This.
I'm currently sitting on 3 gigs, but I'd like to bump it up to 6 at the very least.
As far as computers go, RAM is definitely the easiest and cheapest to upgrade for an ultimately better experience.
"IRL is a pretty upstanding MMO with thousands of classes, a lot of PvP and even some pretty unique emotes and titles you can acquire. Explore that world first, then we'll talk about this virtual one."
You'd run it good on pixel shader 1 and no shadows, but as said you need to up your ram. Then maybe a new GPU.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

It only goes so far.
sockevin91 said he was using Windows XP, so any more than 4GB would be useless, since the operating system will not be able to address it. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/32-bit)
If you are planning to get 6GB ram then you had better have a 64bit operating system.
Getting up to 4GB ram and a better graphics card would be the best advise for sockevin91.
Without knowing a few more details, I am going to guess you are limited to 2 gig of ram. Regardless, topping off your ram is always recommended.
Is your card PCI-e or AGP?
You could probably run Darkfall, but i doubt you would get a very enjoyable experience from it.
Good luck.

I have the same graphics card (I just ordered a better one since it's bad for DF) so I can post specs/fps here for you to compare
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ (Dual core 2.7ghz)
3 GB RAM (DD2 I think)
8400 GS
Vista 32 bit
I get around 40 - 50 fps average in my city and a bit more traveling but my fps drops to unplayable rates once I get into the middle of a large siege/ battle. Medium scale fights are okay though like 20v20 or so
This is with all low settings and lower resolution
