With the second closed beta coming up tomorrow, I want to try the game out. Are the quests good or is the game mostly grindy? I don't mind either way... I just want to know what to expect. Thanks

They lowered the levelingspeed in the first CB (lvl1-10) to give us a chance to test everything(I didn't had to grind, there are a lot of quests, but you had to do alot of quests to reach lvl10 wich takes pretty long). Don't know how it will be this CB.
The first Closed Beta was pretty fun tbh.:p

Then I am looking forward to playing... I just hope it's not too cartoony for me. ><;
The quests are fantastic and provide a small fortune in coins and upto date armour and weapons as you progreess through the levels. They also give you more than enough excperience to boost you through the levels. Their nicely structured so there are no gaps between levels where all you are left to do is grind because there are so many side quests scattered about the map. Another great feature of this game is that a player can earn reputation between the different factions gaining more reputation unlocks special sets of armour and weapons in uniuqe shops, the items sold in them while somewhat expensive are tottaly worth it with the stats far surpassing anything that you could normaly find or recieve from normal quests. This fact alone makes repeatable quests a crucial and more than satisfying part of the game as your egged on into earning more rep for specific factions.
One bad thing about the quests system though is that quite a few quests recquire groups of people and some of the instructions are quite vauge, meaning that it can take a long time to find your objective. Help is also few and far between at the moment as people talking on chat or offering their services only really log on at specific peak periods out of these times its very very hard to find anyone willing to lend you some helpfull informatuion though this si likely to improve as mroe servers open up and a larger number of players join
Quests are the same as in every other generic MMORPG.
Kill 10 of these, bring me 20 of that, go to that place or that person. And that some of the quests are repeatable doesn't make them any more interesting.
Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
Yea but it does make it somewhat more bearable and a little less pretencious
I agree there. Gets a bit repetetive.
Same quest type as always with the kill this and that, but they are well written and have decent stories. There is also a main quest line throughout the game it seems.
I enjoyed the quests. They were a little repetitive but much better then other free mmos.
