The New LFG Tool.

Wasn't the new LFG tool suppose to let you LFG for dungeons you are too high for? I remember seeing screenshots in this old thread below.

I can see his LFG tool has lower level dungeons he can lfg for. I was wondering because I just reactivated and was wanting to LFG for the BC heroics I hadn't completed for the achievements but I'm only able to LFG for lich king dungeons.

    I have every BC heroic key but I don't see the option to LFG for BC dungeons, regular or heroic.

    Dang, ya I'm 80. I was hoping to LFG for the BC heroics on my warlock because I can't solo the achievements. That sucks, oh well.

    The newest LFG tool is just so that you can automatically match with people who are also seeking to run the same instance. The improvements over the last one are

    1. You can LFG for more than 3 instances

    2. You don't have to run to the instance, it teleports you there when you get a group, and when you leave it ports you back to where you were.

    3. It is cross-realm making it infinitely faster to get a group.

    And you have a separate list for "looking for random dungeons", "look for specific dungeons" ... which are x-server.

    And you have a separate "look for raids" which is not x-server.

    And the system automatically queue you (or your team) up, and matches your wishes with others to find people to fill up a dungeon run.  Yes you can play with your friend, you can even join as a full group, all 5 of you, and use this interface just to enjoy the instant porting into zones.

    In simple terms it facilitates getting a dungeon group formed and starting.  You still have to do the killing.
