MMORPG.com would like to acknowledge the departure of long time contributor and current Public Relations Manager Dana Massey.
Mr Massey will be leaving MMORPG.com to take up the role of Lead Designer on an unannounced MMO project with Bit Trap Studios.
All of us here at MMORPG.com would like to thank Dana for his many contributions wish him the best in this and all of his future endeavors.

Good for him. He was one of the few writers here that brought up some concepts in his articles that I enjoyed reading over at times.
Hope his new job works out well.
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

I always liked Dana's articles. Sucks to see him go. But it's great to hear that he's got a job working on a new MMO. I can't wait to hear more about it. You know MMORPG.com junkies will be rooting for him!

Best of luck with your new endeavor Dana. I hope that you saw through most of the vitriol in the posts here and have found some things that will help you in the future with respect to game design. Both Audie Murphy and Albert Einstein were "iconic" heroes, and they went about it in diffrent ways.
