What is your most excited about upcoming release? I only have some mmorpgs on the poll, if it is other or one of the following, just explain why. I kind of want to know what the general is looking forward to the most.
D&D Online is the topmost I'm excited for on that list, though DnL does look interesting. Mostly though, being the Trekie that I am, I'm excited about Star Trek Online.
**Dark and Light (looking forward to) **Horizons @ Unity European Shard(retired) **Anarchy Online (account deleted) **SWG @ Europe chimera (account deleted) **Lineage II Beta (account deleted) **WoW both final betas now on Earthen Ring and Argent Dawn **DAoC account hopefully finally deleted soon
Hehe, sonny to break your bubble, I rather bang my head into a wall all day long then even give DnL a try, hehehe. Only reading their game features is enought to get me angry!

heh sorry to say this but DnL is an overall PvP-centric game,ITS IS NOT MEANED for f***** carebears who cry about getting killed all the time or cause they are to weak to compete in PvP..
pure-PvE's will miss out on ALOT of fun but its their choice, and hopefuly eventualy they will enjoy PvP.
regardless, bashing a game cause it is way to PvP oriented makes you just a silly tard who has no idea what he's talking about.for fuc*s sake go play your PvE-Only games before coming crying on our boards how much you hate PvP and want nerfs..
idiot -.-
heh,i hate the word 'carebear' but kids like the above just force me to use it..
edit:wait, lets give this kid another chance.
WHICH features make you hate the game?care to defend your opinion?or are you just a little fanboy bashing a game which he knows nothing about cause he fears it will draw to much attention from his own game??
No mention of Middle Earth Online in poll? Like most people probably DnL, although Tabula Rasa also just because of Richard Garriot's involvement. Would like to see 1)Discworld Online 2)Call of Cthulhu Online
Sorry, there was only 10 limit. I put the most popular. Anyway, you could put other. Also, I love pure pvp, like in Lineage 2. Amazing. Still trying to find a game like that, and I hope DnL does it.
Thats the game Im not gonna knock any of those games people were yelling out, like DnL. I hear alot about it and I may consider playing it as well I need to hit up the site to get more info.
GUILD WARS
> Graphics rival that of a EQ2 or a L2
> No lag
> Great community
>Great customization
>Great peri-od.
Fall prey to the GUilD..... I dare you

I have played Guild Wars, it is okay. I am not saying this, because I am a fanboy or anything, because I am not. I think NcSoft is the best mmorpg making company. Anyway,
> Graphics rival that of a EQ2 or a L2
Lol. Are you serious? Looks a little better than Diablo 2.
> No lag
There wasn't any lag, your right, but there was A TON of loading screens going from one map to another. I do not like that!
> Great community
Kind of. I do not like Districts. Ruins the feel of mmos. Feels like another Diablo 2(just changing from server to server).
>Great customization
Haven't seen any, because in the beta thing they didn't really let you customize a lot.

"What happened to you, Star Wars Galaxies? You used to look like Leia. Not quite gold bikini Leia (more like bad-British-accent-and-cinnamon-bun-hair Leia), but still Leia nonetheless. Now you look like Chewbacca." - Computer Gaming World
DnL, obviously from my previous posts. Maybe Vanguard. I was initially interested due to my EQ nostalgia, and also Brad McQuaid and co. developing the game. Tthere are two issues that temper any enthusiasm:
1. Separate shards - too hit and miss to ensure that you're on a server with a good community. Server rules? Pah, another way of tacking on elements to the game that were not built into the engine from the get go (see PvP).
2. No PvP built into the engine. Separate server. No thanks.
If I do play Vanguard, I will only play PvE. I am not a hardcore player when it comes to manic PvP (given that up) or putting more hours into a game than I do at work (!), but I do like Risk vs Reward. I have no objection if PvP is built into the game and enhances gameplay, but following the EQ PvP version - tacked on - turns me off completely. Too much of a compromise.
Haven't read too much about the other MMOGs. Besides, I loathe AD&D with a passion. ** Yes, I am aware that D&D is the Grand-daddy of them all, considering I played T&T [Tunnels and Trolls] and D&D in the early 80s, but I hate the system. Just my personal opinion.

Well i voted for Face of Mankind cause im really loving the open beta right now despite the bugs, downtime (rightnow) and game play issues. They are working hard on it though and the lag has gotten quite a bit better and all the GMs are really nice. The game play itself rocks cause of the fps and totally open gameplay aspect. Im a cop in game and i gotta go around finding and arresting the criminals patroling areas and whatnot.
Im also looking forward to guildwars cause i just really like the game its simple and fun and the pvp plain rocks. Whoever said that guildwars graphics arent any good is on crack. Guild Wars graphics are simply amazing and they run really well on low end systems its basically stupid how good and fast they are even with MX cards.
Im looking forward to Dark and Light too but not as much as everyone else. It looks and sounds nice but i just havent seen enough to really get excited yet.

well wow eu friday but thats not on list

Dark and Light, hands down.
Vangaurd, Saga of Heroes for me

Dark and Light
Wish Refugees Guild - Keeping the Spirit of Wish Alive in DnL
Dark and Light comes closest to the realism and big scale competition I'm looking for.

I still can't hear enough people scream "Dark and Light" untill are
Dark and Light.
I hope it runs ok on my PC though. A better, less hardcore Graphics Engine then EQ2 I mean.
WoW is fun too though.

There are no bubbles to bust just because some people look forward to it and some don't, nothing wrong with opinions, just how you voice them.

D&L is the next game I'm looking forward to.
Seems to be an overall cool game witha huge world and some stable and well done game system...

Many nice games coming out though. I may try Guild Wars or D&D online. Auto Assault looks fun too.
