Steam charge extra?

Just want to know if steam charges extra, I got 3.5$ on my debit card, don't want to go over, and this game costs 2.7$ ish.

Never had them charge more than what they displayed as the price.

I am in the US, so there may be something that could affect that differently if you are not.

So if it says, $2.99 it means that price and no more?

I can confirm that Steam does not charge extra fees. It's always the amount displayed in the Steam Store.

Steam shows your final cost before you submit your purchase.  Not only do they not have hidden or extra fees, they are always running really good sales if you can afford to buy now and play later.

True, steam is one of the best to buy from, though, if out of country, they do charge CCs for the currency rate exchange.

They usually don't charge taxes, unless you're in the EU and then you get hit with VAT. Even so, they clearly show the final total cost, including any extra taxes or fees, before you confirm your purchase.

In the pas they used to add tax+ price displayed depending on where you lived but now every region has their own price so now you just pay the price displayed....tax is already added.
