'Easy' F2P MMO?

PurpleCliffPurpleCliff Member UncommonPosts: 156

I have friends who have never played an MMO, and I just want to be able to play some online game with them.

It needs to be free, pretty simple and easy to get into.

Browser-based would be awesome, but that doesn't matter if there aren't any good browser MMOs.

And lastly it needs to have Guilds of some sort.

Anything like that exist?

Cheers.

City of Eternals. No lie. Just tell me how many invites you need and I'm pretty sure I can get them to you. They've only sent me like 4 million by now.

    Faunasphere is also pretty cool.

I tried City of Eternals and just couldn't get into it. I wanted to, it's just a bit too cluttered or something for me. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Then, once again, Faunasphere would be good and everyone but me seems to like Dragon's Call.

www.monstersgame.co.uk was quite fun for a while

most f2p games are pretty easy to figure out but not always that interesting.  Can u narrow down what type of mmo u are looking for?

Allods is almost what I want, still trying it. I don't wanna make a poor first suggestion to my friends :P

    I'll check out Earth Eternal.

One last thing I'd like to know, is there a good 'Browser MMORTS' like War or Legends, that's pretty recent?

Thanks so much for the suggestions! :D

Naw it's pretty tactical, the pvp in that game made me shake. The early lvls can be straightforward but once you start doing higher lvl dungeons and raids then it's quite tactical and can be hard when your in groups since its a turn based game.

I'd have to say the easiest game I've played so far is Runes of Magic, and I'm not just saying that as some fan boy, you can litterally click on the key words in your quest and auto move to that location, even for mobs and certain items that need finding! heck imo they may as well be playing it for you! You can even use a tomtom like feature if you can't auto move which creates a red arrow for you to follow, takl about not neednig to look around for very long.  What is also great about it is you can combine 2 classes which can make you into an unstopable hybrid killing machine, I hear Mage/Priest is highly recommended for new starters as it is cheap to play and has survivablity as well as heavy damage.

if you want something easy, cabal is pretty easy. it was my first and it really got me ready for the real MMOs. you can pretty much solo the whole game. i haven't played a ton of MMOs though, so there might be a better suggestion in a previous post.
