maybe it freaked me out because of how closely this resembles other emails Ive recieved or have seen. Or the fact that I contract work with DSS and NGA and recieve emails from time to time in this format and using these markings and language. (U/FOUO is a standard marking for Unclassified/For Official Use Only)
Anyway, I recieved this email over the weekend and it really freaked me out. PS. If you have recieved this email, do not click the link at the bottom as its obviously being deemed suspicious (I havnt included the link, no worries).

(U//FOUO) Today, March 06, 2010 at 11.46 AM local time (UTC/GMT -5 hours), US seismographic stations recorded seismic activity in the area of Okinawa Island (Japan). According to National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Democratic People's Republic of Korea has carried out an average range missile attack with use of nuclear warhead. The explosion caused severe destructions in the northern part of the Okinawa island. Casualties among the personnel of the US military base are being estimated at the moment.

hmm..ya that does make sense with the timing of it all.

This is soooo frightening... I hope i won't receive any email about this thing.... T_T
I am sure that if there was a real threat of NK doing something like that that they would raise the FPCON on us so as that hasn't happened yet I am assuming NK is just barking again.
