I like the hostile nature of forums

Thats why I dont come here anymore. The only people not inrested in debate on this forum are the debaters. However, seeing as the fine people that run this sight are impartial, it would be in their best interest to encourage debate. In nature, the constant fight between positive and negtative charges is what allows the universe to exists. If one side wins, there is no universe. If there isnt 2 sides, there is no universe. Its simple paradimg id like to pass along to the fine people who run this site. And I encourage you to open up the debate, so that the universe can exists.

    Would you care to elaborate? Im not really sure what youre getting at or how it relates to what I said.

    I would agree with you that debate is warranted, needed and good.  However, what we see a lot of on forums such as this is not debate.  It is simply a repetitious argument circle of "You don't agree with me, you are... stupid, a noob, lazy, a griefer, an asshat."  And a whole lot of arguments that contain simply, "You are wrong!!!!111!1!1!!!!!!111oneoneeleven"  That is not debate.  For debate to be had, you must have a discussion and telling someone that they are simply wrong when it comes to matters of opinion is not a discussion.

    Unfortunately, this lack of debate is not limited to these forums. It's human nature and you see it almost everywhere. I would argue, the minute people move beyond the umbrella of agreement it is the first response, and meaningful and productive debate only occurs from leadership or a great need.

    I'm into some seriously twisted stuff (BSDM, etc), but I don't find hostile nature of the forums to be very entertaining at all =P
