Xsyon or mortal online?

Looking for a new sandbox mmo to play, i think ive narrowed it down to Xsyon or MO, seeing how both want you to preorder the game to get into open beta im not sure which one looks better.  Anyone played the beta or know anything about either of these games that would help?

Im really looking for a REAL sandbox game with lots of freedom and skill based instead of leveling if possible, both seem to have these qualities, and both look really cool,  but i can only play one game, lol

Thanks

If you have an absolute amazing computer and graphics card....and want to wait out all the bugs. Go with MO.

Personally, even with my 1gb 9800gt and 4 gigs of ram it still lags....

    *dislikes MO*

Xsyon on the other hand looks REALLY cool

Mortal Online is in a free for all open beta now, you can try it out yourself.  Xsyon has a very attractive feature list, but noone has played the game nor seen any video about it.

    Xsyion is a complete un-known

MO is known......try the beta it is free

Personally I wouldn't ever get my hopes up on a game until after it launches.

I've been through this same problem.  I 've actually played most the stages of MO beta, been in it for many months now:

The game is full of bugs still, however it has the potential to be an amazing game...graphics are incredible, the crafting system is pretty damn cool and complicated, and pvp can be fun (and can be terrible)

Xsyon as others have said, is completely unknown at this time,  no beta reports, hell not even a video of gameplay.  So until I see or hear something I would definitly be cautious of purchasing a game thats a month from release and has not allowed anyone to play the game yet.

At least MO had enough faith in their product to let people in many many months before release.
