Finally seem to be hitting it big this year in MMORPG/Console and movies. Mythology, about Gods and mortal of complete epic rawness should continue for good! its about time we get this.

I think what spurred this thread into existence was the 3D Clash of the Titans remake. The movie does look like it's made of pure awesomeness though. I loved the original movie. I just hope the new one does it justice.
Someone should make a MMORPG set in Greek Mythology. ...or should I say a decent MMORPG set in Greek Mythology.

That's funny, I've been playing Titan Quest for the past month or two and was just thinking the same thing. I love Greek mythology, and it's about time it gets some love from the game industry.
Don't forget God of War 3 is coming out as well.

G&H is suppose to be Roman, but I'm sure it'll be a mish-mash of Greek and Roman mythos (which pretty much was what Roman myths were anyway :-) )
Unless you really know you usually end up with Romans - because people know about gladiators and the Legions etc..... and Greek myths - which are more common. After all Zeus we know, but Jupiter not so much even though they're pretty much the same.

Never really been a fan of Greek mythology.
well yeah there is no MMO focus on greek mythology but then they keep on putting them in the MMO such as NPC's and naming the item to greek myth god's.
Greek Mythology is awesome, and so are most other mythologies.
You should give Titan Quest + Expansion a go, its like Diablo 2; except Greek-like
(There are still a fair number of players playing it, plus its quite cheap; I got it off of steam for 9.99 with the expansion).
