no no no .. its not a bad game it is a good joke . dont boo them laugh with them .
Hahahaha ha yes great joke great umm ya you can turn it off now
You do understand what 'alpha' means do you. ?
Obviously not.
Alpha IS a Nother way of saying Closed Beta Testing . now by the time a game has hit Alpha/Closed Beta Testing the core of that game is in place theres been 2 or 3 years of research 1 or 2 years on the deva table
i have Alpha/Closed beta test 17 mmorpg to date and this is 1 a joke or 2 the biggest flop of the year . this waste of disk space if it has the intention to be a game at some point is in no way shape of form ready now to be tested.
defend defend defend your crappy game still in Closed Beta Testing and already selling Cash shop DEFEND
Your post is incorrect in both respects, as well as being almost incoherent.
Alpha testing is not beta, they have different names for a reason. Alpha means they do not have a core fully developed yet and pretty much everything is open to design change. When they do have this core finished they move to beta, to get the balance, bug fixes, to update UI's, polish the game and add content.
My point is that you are reviewing a game that has not even got the basics sorted, and as to my last post you have proved I was correct. This is not a defence it is just informing you that you need to wait till open beta before you bash something.
dude you are drunk , high , mentally handicap i dont know but you have a prob . Closed Beta Testing CBT and alpha testing AT are the same thing . and no the core of the game is in place befor testing starts or what are you testing this games a flop
defend defend your sorry junk game ............ defend defend your Closed Beta Testing game that is already selling cash shop DEFEND
I'm not here to flame or anything, i haven't even tried this game...
But guys i think alpha is a like a step before CBT, normaly theres no AT because its a stage where should not be shown to public yet... but that's what i think, i'm not sure tho.

There's no such thing as a true beta or alpha test in an Asian port.
The game is already live in other countries. We're simply getting what's already there. The game you see in Alpha and Closed Beta is essentially what you're going to see in Open Beta. Any future updates excluding localization fixes (grammar/spelling/rewrites) have already been made and dictated by the developer. The publishers that port these games over have little to no say in how the game is improved, otherwise there wouldn't be so many shitty ones that fail to ever get any better.
All this Beta stuff is merely used to test the servers, fix localization errors, and get the publicity train rolling.
awwww I feel bad for you, maybe you should send a reply the the games developer and see if you can get your money back oh wait thats right you didnt have to pay any money my bad. You sound really upset over a game you didnt have to spend a dime to try I could understand your ranting if you had to drop some money on it to play it but you didnt and you dont have to
time is money and yes they wasted 4 hours of mine . and no i did not ask to alph test i reply to one of the 9 e-mails they sent me figuring if mmorpg.com is giving out e-mails to this site the game must be kinda good .
and yes i know it was mmorpg.com that gave them the e-mail as every game/forums/chat room / and funtionary ive ever built has its own e-mail and all the requests came from the e-mail set for this site
So you google and copy pasted something you found but you never actually understood the meaning of it.
Viddster is right. But I'll go into deeper details:
Each games must undergo 3 specific stage before entering the market as a "released" product. (2 for most single-player games and multiplayer games, 3 for MMOs)
First: Alpha Testing. Alpha Testing is for developers to evaluate the game, test the features and usually find the most game breaking bugs. In MMOs, Alpha Testing may also be used to determine what changes should be done to said MMO in order to fit a specific crowd. If the Developers like what they see, they will move on to Closed Beta testing.
Closed Beta Testing: The second stage. For Single-Player games and Multiplayer Games (think Bioshock, Battlefield, etc) closed beta are usually done by professional paid testers who are to find as many bugs as possible (often map bugs and glitches). It is the same for MMOs except that the testers are not paid professionals. The game may still experience any changes by the Developers in this stage, but it is less likely unless the testers really push forward to fixes and changes.
Open Beta Testing: The last stage of the game before launch that not many Single-Player/Multiplayer games will go through with a few exceptions such as Battlefield Bad Company 2. For MMOs, Open Beta Testing is often used for Server Stress Test and Advertising. At this stage, it is unlikely that the developers will change anything but changes may be added throughout the game at it's official release stage with expansions and such.

I didn't go too much into the details but the basic is there.

sir you are sadly mistaken tho do to the fact my attention span isnt that long and this topic has grown very old and ive wasted plenty of my time on this worthless waste of time game ill give you this
you win your game have fun with it
LOL alpha the same as beta, funny as hell. I guess the latin alphabet needs to be re-written
alpha/beta gamma delta epsilon zeta eta theta iota kappa lambda mu nu xi omicron pi rho sigma tau upsilon phi chi psi omega
Never looked at it that way. Maybe some games should go all the way to Omega Testing before release.
wow really because I never got 1 email from mmorpg.com about its alpha test, I followed a link in a referal thread from a user and then referred someone else to get my key then about a day later saw a link on mmorpg.com with free at keys but never was sent an email let alone spammed with emails and sry time is only money if you are working
Sorry... but that's completely wrong. What you've posted there is a complete bastardization of what Alpha and Beta are.
They are two different stages of software development that predates MMORPGs and is part of the standard software development process.
What you've posted there is nothing but a perfect illustration of how the MMO community has taken an established term and proceeded to completely misuse it, like they have with many other terms, twisting it to mean whatever they want it to.
Here is the overall development cycle laid out...
As the article points out... in some cases Alpha will be open to the public.. but it is, by definition, *not* the same thing as beta. They're given two different names for a reason.
and the cash shop selling asphalt..." - Mimzel on F2P/Cash Shops
Don't know about you, but it is all Greek to me !
I havent even played the game, but I know Alpha and Beta testing are different stages of game developement...
I will not waste my time, I have a little bit more sense than to try something as obviously shite as this out.
You obviously have no clue to MMOs if you even thought this might be even remotely good ....
peopel: lern to talk please:
u say: its shit
u dont say: why!
give more details, or say nothing.
Dude, learn to type before posting.
"peopel" .....
: )
i am very sory for typing like i did
i always miss the right keys : )
think about what i TRY to say, not what i actually do, hehe
cheers.
I understand proper punctuation and grammar like to make us all feel as though we're smart, but just because English appears to be someone's second language is no need to be a total douche.
Now, about this game. Should I spend my time giving it a shot? Does it have potential in any way, shape or form? If not, then Why? Also, I was a little curious about what :
* Notice: If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, installation on the C:/ disk is NOT recommended.
...was/is all about on the download page.
if anyone would like to explain WHY the game supposedly sucks...before it's even out, PLEASE tell us before we waste our time.
If you cannot give a good reason, or as many of you have demonstrated, a coherent response in understandable english, then I have no choice but to label you a hater and move on. I'm not a huge fan of IGG since all they seem to publish are point-and-click 2.5d isometric piles of crap, but this game looks like it has potential.
Just to add my two cents if a game is giving away keys to a CB / Alpha build doesn't that mean the developers should have enough faith for the public eye to see their work? I for one saw all the pretty bright colors and fantasy mounts and closed the window lest I die from seeing yet another crap anime-style MMO.
Long story short they are giving away keys, that to me means it should at this point be in open beta. I'm glad I didn't download this crap.
