Hi, my computer is fairly decent, but I don't have a 3d graphics card installed right now. Which MMORPG can I play? I have played ragnarok online and so I want something very similar. Preferably with a free trial. I love ROSE online, but can't play that until I get my graphics card!
Any ideas?
thanks in advance.

Erm i think you find any game will require a Graphics Card dude, you proberly get away with playing a Web Browser MMO but i doubt thats what you want.
You can get Series 9 for like £50 these days .
There is always Maplestory, not one of my favorites but it is 2D.
Even Maple Story might require graphics card to play it. It uses sprite-based graphics and a lot of 2d-acceleration. The OP could try it if he has a modern CPU, but don't expect great frame rates.
You're basically stuck with browser-based games if you don't have a 3d graphics card. Try Runescape or Farmville...
Try Blitz 1941 or Navyfield...
I doubt you'll need a 3d card for those games....
You could try "Lineage"
Not to be mistaken for "Lineage 2".
It is essentially 2 d.
these are the system requirments:

I can play ragnarok online... does it mean I have a 3d graphics card then??!
Ok, what games have the same specs as ragnarok online? Jeez.

It says I have Intel(R) 82801E Graphics controller.

The browser-based game Fallen Sword is pretty good. I play it on my netbook when I'm hanging out at Starbucks, nursing my coffee...
Asheron's Call can run on something as simple as a netbook, I would try that. It was programmed in the days when a lot of people still didn't have graphics cards and stuff had to also have to option to be rendered through software mode.
I haven't tried it myself but there is a free 14 day trial to it's risk free for you to see if it will run.
Ashen Empires should work.

Fun mmo that is still active. Its ftp with a sub option and a fluff cash shop, has both pve and a pvp server. Great crafting and magic systems and a huge world. Good luck.
Your motherboard probably has some built-in graphics acceleration, but that will likely hardly compare to even the cheaper gfx cards on the market these days.
It looks like Ragnarok Online has the following requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Windows 98se/me/2000/XP
Pentium - 500 or equivalent (Athlon CPU, Celeron)
128 MB RAM or higher
VGA Video Card DirectX compatible video card with 8MB video memory, DirectX 8.0 or higher.
DirectX compatible sound card
2.2GB or higher Hard Drive space.
Recommened Requirements
Windows 98se/me/2000/XP
Pentium - 700 MHz or higher(Athlon CPU, Celeron)
256 MB RAM or higher
DirectX compatible video card with 32MB video memory, Transform & Lighting, DirectX 8.0 or higher
Card DirectX compatible sound card / 3D Surround Sound Support
2.2GB or higher Hard Drive space
I don't know what games out there would currently run under those specs, but it probably isn't much. As has been suggested there may be a few browser based games that you'd be able to handle. Other options include... um... transporting yourself and your computer back in time about 5-10 years? Considering Ragnarok requires a video card with DX8 or higher and DX9 came out in 2002 you'll probably have to go back at least that far.
I think if you've purchased a video board or a pc with an onboard video board since 1995, you should have a 3d graphics accellerator of some sort.
but like others have pointed out, if its an intel based on-board accellerator you're going to be very limited. You just need to find the MMO's with the lowest system requirements.
the part you listed Intel(R) 82801E doesnt look like a graphics accellerator.
do you know how to run directX diagnostic? using the dxdiag command? If you hit the bottom left "start" button, find something called "run". In the blank entry space, type- dxdiag
you'll have some tabs, check your display tab. let me know what you find
This is what it says when I got into what you said:

check me i got an ati 5770 !my card is being utilised about of 20% of its power why?
because these card are made for the futur like dx11 parrallel processing etc
i only have a dual core if say a game came out with these enhanced feature like paralel graphic i would have to buy a quad core
what with igp!for most game out currently just follow guide
- CPU : Pentium3 1GHz or higher
- RAM : 512 MB or higher
- Video : 128MB or higher 3D card
- OS : Windows 2000/XP/Vista
- Direct X 9.0c
- HDD Space : 1GB
thats one example as long as your computer fit in there your fine
p1 trough p4 will work on yours!
i wont list all the possible basicly its better to bring req like i did and then show up yours
and community caan help say yes it will work or no it wont
but unless you got a p3 or older chances are most game will work
Any graphics card younger than a decade is capable of calculating 3d graphics. It's hard to believe that you got a recent pc with such a fossil of a graphics card. That would be like trying to create a steam-powered spaceship.
Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
