THANG Online no longer viable for playing

    Could you please enlighten me a bit more?

    I've never played THANG, but I'm still interested in "ways-of-completely-destroying-decent-games"

    The developers of "Thang Online" decided it was time to tweak an already strained economy.  Already the game was not paying decent enough wages in-game to maintain one's healing/repair costs and doing upgrades to ingame equipment.  One had to wait until his resources were right in order to make adjustments to his character.  What they decided to do what, cut the "loot" income by 2/3 and raised the repair costs by 300%+.  This resulted in it costing more by far for repairs and healing potions for missions than you could ever possibly hope to acquire on said endeavor from loot droppe by mobs.  What they ended up doing was last night, they had an "emergency patch"  but for literally hundreds of players, it was too little too late.  Their characters had become inert with broken weapons and no cash to repair them.

    Last night's emergency patch lowered repair costs by 50% but still repairs and healing potions cost a small percentage more than you can hope to gain by playing.  They have made it nearly impossible to break even, let alone advance your character with special items.

    This is why I frown apon MMOG's that focus the entire gameplay experiance on combat and leveling. I'm curious, is this something the player asked for or something the devs thought up? If its the later, I would say it's time to speak up and get your voices out there for the devs to hear. We may be the "little" guys, but when we put our strength together by our sheer numbers, the whole world will hear us. Give it a shot, what have you got to lose, get a petition together with the rest of the community if the all feel the same way about the changes.

    thang sucks, they made about 45% repairng price of weapon, and lowered prices for selling items in shops, but not for buying

    That ruined whole economy.
