PS3 Beta

in Final Fantasy XIV

In doing some research into the PS3 beta version of Final Fantasy 14 I found an article that said that the people who got a copy of Final Fantasy 13 would get a chance to enter the beta.

Looking though my box that I got with Final Fantasy 13 the only thing I have with some type of key on it is a Product Registration Card and so I was wondering if this was what they were talking about?

Does anyone have any information on how this works?

    Go to the site on the card and create a square enix account if you don't already have one. After that enter in the code, it will add some points to your account and then send you to a page that gives you another key code that you can then take over to the ffxiv beta site and sign up for the beta.

    Thanks, I had gotten to the part where I needed the new code I just couldn't figure out where to get it at ^^

    The code given in FF13 is for an item(probably cosmetic) for use in FF14, though your beta app can be updated with the fact that you have registered that code, I doubt it will affect who they choose for beta testing.

    PS3 beta is supposedly starting during PC beta, I would guess CB2, which is a ways off since there isn't apps for PS3 beta yet and alpha testing just started recently.
