MMOFPSRPG?

I'm just wondering if there is anything like this out there right now, I havn't been able to find anything but I heard something about one in development. Any links or info would be helpful, thanks!

    There are a couple out there being developed. Tabula Rasa is an MMORPG with shooter style combat which is due out later this year. It's so good I created a fansite for it - www.pkanettr.com (excuse the spam).

    Other options include Huxley, a MMOFPS based on the unreal 3.0 engine due out later next year. This looks quite interesting, but I have a few questions that have not been answered yet.

    The most successful MMOFPS (IMO) to date has to be PlanetSide, however this lacks depth compared to many MMO's out these days.

    Neocron 2

    Those are the only half decent ones I know of. I also know of one that e-games has, but that one is so bad it's not worth mentioning ::::07::

    Theres also WWIIOL, but that is more of a combat sim where the whole massively multiplayer thing was kind of an afterthought. Most of the development time was spent on pointless "realism" components, whilst neglecting important things like interface and playability.

    Besides that and of course PS, no other company has really done anything with the genre. I know everyone wants to play something more coherent than PS, but no one seems to want to make it.

    Face of Mankind also. Although as a pay to play game its a joke.

    Planetside Reserves is the currently released best bet free limited version of planetside.

    WarRock is 8 to 64 players, it is a FPS not a MMOFPS.. if you counted WarRock as an MMO you would have to count Battlefield 2 as an MMO and they are not.

    How can you call Warrock an MMO? There is nothing massive about it. It's an online shooter, in the same genre as Battlefield 2.

    Face of Mankind is a MMORPG with a huge FPS aspect tons of FPSers in it too

    Lol, I kinda thought you meant MMOFPSRTSRPG. :S And it kinda make me wonder. There is no MMOFPSRTSRPG that I know of right?? I would love a game like savage but then in a persistant world.

    Gunz the duel is a game like that! But lvling goes very slow i tell u, and u need to practice a lot.
    I quitted it because i didnt liked  it  because of the moves some guys did :p

    After these posts and alot of research I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing really like this out there that fits my needs. Back to BF2 for me, no regrets.

    The best MMOFPSRPG to come out was planetside (the original pre-patched).

    Apparently SOE is going to try and release a planetside 2. If it is successfully pulled off and sticks to it's original vision, it'll be an AWESOME game. 100's of opposing players on a single map fighting for control over territory with weapons you had to "train" to learn? You betcha... Good stuff.
