Personally I could care either way which way it all goes I suppose. However, in reading the various posts by both parties am I the only one that's noticed David Allen tends to try and be polite and state what has been done to him and why he feels he's been wronged, while Derek Smart's posts all involve him insulting David Allen and anyone else that doesn't agree with what Smart says?
Isn't there a word or term that describes someone that feels no compulsion to be kind to others, doesn't care who they insult, tends to go out of their way to insult everyone around them, and spends all their time pointing their finger and blaming other people while praising themself as being better than everyone else?

When nearly half of your 45 posts have been deleted, maybe there's a problem. Knowing Mr. Smarts logic, it's probably MMORPG's fault somehow. I love how Mr. Smart loves to point out how everyone else is breaking ToS but totally overlooks his poor track record in this department. These are not the Alganon forums Mr. Smart. You hold no special authority or presence here. You are nothing more than another poster like the rest of us.
We may not have been first party to the events, but given the actions of both parties involved, you are doing nothing to garner favor to your side of the debate(yeah I know you don't care, that's why you incessantly respond to all of these threads). If anything, you're lending creedence to all the claims by David Allen in the eyes of those watching this soap opera.

What in the world were you thinking bashing David Allen and his team? Is it worth it? Do you realize you're hurting yourself far more than you're hurting Allen? Its not too late to take the high road, and take your own advice.
As I said previously, it is always easy for people who have no clue what happened to start pointing the finger, speculating and generally making comments as if they are better than anyone else.
This wasn't supposed to be going out until tomorrow, but here, go read and stop speculating.

Oh,if you did not know the polite, proper, mature and legal thing to do is to give Randall Munroe (XKCD) his due credit for using his cartoon. Yes, I read the tangential piece and the your opinions, which are stated as fact (ironic considering your postings on the Steam forums), are not really supporting the arguments you elude to.

I suggest you re-read and reflect on all your posts across multiple forums before you start slamming others for "making comments as if they are better than anyone else". As a matter of fact, that behavior is exactly what has lead to your current legal situation with David Allen.

Ok, after reading your link I've come to the conclusion that you really just don't get it. The fact that you think David Allen's defamation suit is "ludicrous" when the proof is slathered all over the internet across multiple forums shows just how out of touch your reality is with everyone else's....amazing.

Hmm, Smart releases a great deal of information about Alganon finances, investors and investments in the 'Dave Allen saga' he links to. Including how much money the game made in subs and sales into the middle of january (page 6).

Anyway, the current status of this matter is that everyone he named in his frivolous suit has or is in the process of counter-suing him for everything ranging from embezzlement and conversion, to everything in between.
That's what happens when you sue people who actually have money to defend themselves.
Meanwhile, we finished and shipped Alganon - and the game is growing everyday and with even more improvements to come.
