I dont see any way to craft in this game, i am using the forge and it tells me i need a recipe, but the crafting trainer told me she had gave me a basic recipes and the tools, i equipped the tools, when i press begin nothing happens but saying i need the recipe. Also i got 3 crafting tools, and 2 of them just dissapeared and they are nowhere, also didnt know the purpose of 2 of them, one was a smithing hammer but the other tool didnt seem anything similar to a hammer, dont know for what are they, but they use the same slot as hammer.

Sorry bro, I haven't subbed to VG in a while so I don't remember exactly what you need to do. Figuring crafting is a pain if I remember but once you do, it's pretty easy. I remember getting hung up in the same spot as you.
Isn't there anyone ingame to ask? I know there are pop issues but damn...this forum board is pretty dead, the only thing folks here are able to do is speculate on whether or not the game is closing down but most of them don't actually play. You may want to try on the offical board.
VG is a pretty good game but unfortunately no one plays it.
Yes, tried to ask ppl in ooc channel some times, but just once got reply saying that i should follow the trainer tutorial, which doesnt explain this cause i think its a bug as before i saw the starting recipe and after restarting tutorial i dont see anything. Also tutorial doesnt explain what to do after you press begin recipe, there are certain buttons there i didnt know what to do with them, maybe the youtube tutorial explains them but can access that part anymore now and i cant buy any higher lvl recipe either.

I had issues with the crafting tutorial as well. I never craft but decided to see what Vanguard Crafting was about.. Buttons say go from left to right in the process but I only got so far and couldn't progress as the next button never came active.
You could always make a dummy character to just go do the crafting again to see if it is more clear or that there are no issues. Or, wait until you go out into the real world as there are crafting stations/npc's and it might be more clear in the original starter areas.
The area where the video takes place in Khal in Qualia (or however one spells that) and is free to go to as it is a hub. If you use a rift stone you will see it as "purple" on the map and therefore it is free to go there.
People do craft and I constantly see people asking if someone can make a something for a boat or some such thing so I don't think the whole thing is whacked.

OK, FYI the tutorial is junk. Just skip it for now. So go to any starter town or on the isle where crafting is available. Since you're using a hammer, Im assuming you're a blacksmith. Now go to a task master and pick up some work orders. Light blue is easiest and yellow is pretty hard while red is almost impossible.
Now say you picked up a work order from a finishing taskmaster. Go to the forge right click it, you'll see a tab open up. Click on the plus sign (next to work orders i think cant remember) now on the right side of the window tab it'll show you ALL the required tools and items you need. But here is the catch. You'll need some other items and tools BASED on the complications. So just keep practicing and I recommend you write down the tools and items you need (if you dont have those stuff exit and go buy em from the crafting utilites or the other merchant) delete the work order and pick it up again. Now just start over. Although you can still craft w/o the items and tools from complications it'll cost MORE action points. And if you run out of action points then you have to exit the work and start over. Just keep working on it until you get the hang of it. Once you feel like you are comfortable with doing it, try working on the quality. But just keep in mind that it uses up a lot of action points. The higher the grade of the item you craft the better rewards you get from the NPC (sets and batches work orders)
So this is what I recommend, when you get to level 11-40 look for or equip clothing that has a lot of crafting station / utilities, INGENUITY, REASONING, and PROBLEM SOLVING stats. Then when you pick up some stat points put most of it into FINESSE. But keep in mind to always try to balance out your stats. Once you reach level 40+ Finesse is the biggest and most important stat you'll need. Because it gives a big bonus to your quality and progress and uses less action points. If you have a real hard time finding good clothing, tools, and jewelry. There are lots of quests around all 3 continents that have really nice rewards. It doesnt help much because it doesnt show stats but here's my profile http://vgplayers.station.sony.com/characters.vm?characterId=47244673485 The rings are rewards for doing quests (level 21+) in New Targonor, there are 3 factions you can choose from, pick whatever one you want and do work orders from them to get faction hits then they will give out some quests. Also at level 21 you can get some earrings as rewards in Qalia again you'll have to choose from 3 factions (i think) You can skip those and go to Rindol Field talk to one of the halflings and do his quest at level 11, I recommend doing it at level 15+ I still use it to this day cuz it has really nice effects. At the docks area of New Targonor you can pick up a few quests down there to get Dawn's Sign apron and gloves at level 21+ Now for the clothing, you can pick them up from rewards for doing work orders. I really suggest you pick the stats you NEED and get a leather worker or tailor crafter to enhance (upgraded) them for you, for a small price, some crafters would even do it for free. Some clothing can be enhanced and some cant it'll say if it can.
If you need more help, just reply here, I'll try to explain as best as I can. Oh yea, FYI you dont need the hammer or any smithing tool to be on your hand. Buy some tool bags (or quest for em in Qalia) and just put them all in there. Once you start the process of the work order it'll auto change for you UNLESS of course the tools are in a different bag, you can change bags at the cost of 5 action points When you're in crafting mode. Open up your equipment (gear) window click under the crafting tab and take a look at your tool bags. Whatever one that has the GREEN check mark is the one you're currently using. So make sure you have the tools in the right bag before you start crafting.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, FINISHING and REFINING goes hand in hand. So every level max out all the stats doing work orders. If you jsut focus on doing finishing work orders and never skill up refining skills, you'll end up in serious down time. Because refining is turning the ores into ingots or sheets of metal the very things you need for the finishing recipes. But if you choose to skip refining, you can buy the materials you need trhough the exchange broker at a costly rate.
Clothing stats are as follows
11-20 - 2 stats
21-30 - 3 stats
31-40 - 4 stats
41-50 - 5 stats
The guy who posted the explanation above me needs another star.
