I'm one of those guys who keep reading these posts... watching people say 'hey - if the population was more I'll join!'
So, yah - it's just like saying 'I'll show you mine if you show me yours'... but I've decided to show mine first.
I did have a lvl 30 shaman and pscionisist, but plan on shelving them in favor of a new toon - to hopefully re-acquaint myself to the game and hopefully ally myself with a lot of the other returning players. I loved the game before, but left after a bit of Vanguard rage after I spent nearly 2 months in Pantheon trying to finish all those buggy quests only to be told it would never be fixed once I finally got to the end... *cry*
I don't want to be the n00b in the 3 year old guild being lead around by a leash to all the great places. I want to experience it all as if it were new (which a lot of it is given the massive world). Only this way would I find myself looking forward each day at work to the evening full of EXPLORATION and new experiences.
I've dabbled a little the last few days and am completely amazed again by the scope and detail put into the game and it's diverse classes and amount of content. Just need a group to enjoy it with! There are quite a few running around in the starter areas... found 10 even in the local goblin area, not even starter isle! I see good things to come for Vanguard if this continues.
I love the vanguard crafting and resource collection, houses, boats... have never made but would love to see a first (in my world).
Any other new or re-subs with like interests care to guild up and venture forth? I'll be playing on the Seradon server, my main has yet to be determined... but would definitely tailor my characters to suit a static adventure group.
I play MST time zone, usually from 8pm onwards...

Hey Slap,
There's another thread growing by the hour right now (New, who wants to start with me?) that seems to have a pretty solid group of people from mmorpg.com looking to possibly create a guild.
I've got to talk to the wife about it (and finish up finals this week), but we may definitely be interested in at least opening a chat channel with everyone so we have a community to get started with.
I had my most recent "yay" moment earlier today when I was able to help someone locate a mount vendor. The person was having so much trouble finding one in Tanvu, so I rode on over and couldn't remember where it was myself, so we hopped over to Khal and I helped her out. Was great fun to be more concerned with helping someone out and saying "hi" than anything else...
which makes me ponder whether I'm more of a sheep than I want to admit...
because I have the option to do that in any game and yet I follow the grind...
ugh.
Anyway, yay VG. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon...that's for sure!
