So I played Age of Conan at launch and actually liked it. The only reason I quit was because I couldn't deal with the red lag spike issue of the time. Meant to come back sooner but haven't considered it until now.
Anyway here are my concerns. How much ganking goes on on the RP-PvP server? I'm wanting to come back and choose it, because the test event was my first experience with AoC's PvP server ruleset and I enjoyed the freedom of it. But you know, being a test event, I assume three quarters of everyone was a rogue and spent all day ganking because of the circumstance. My girlfriend enjoyed that for about day 1, but it got old to her today. I'd feel comfortable bringing her to the RP-PvP server if I knew at least 3/4th's of the populace wasn't a rogue.
Secondly, if the RP-PvP server is a gankfest, is Wicanna still the unofficial RP server of sorts?

The bold server names are the current servers available. All of the others have been merged into the correlating server.
There is also an unlimited free trial now for the Tortage Island portion of the game for levels 1-20. There is quite a bit of ganking in the PvP enabled areas for Tyranny, but as you know, there are plenty of quests available for you to do without worrying about the open areas with PvP.

About ganking: its horrible, every dungeon instance (? thought instance = solo, not in aoc though) is just crowded with PKs and they kill you over and over and over and over again, the only way to fight them is by gathering a noob zerg and just steamrolling the stupid mofos xD
1. You will find gankers on any pvp server including the RP-PVP (Cimmeria). Joining a well known guild really helps. However, you will get ganked quite a bit even with a well known guild name. You can definitely level up thou.
2. Wiccana has a lot of RP guilds on the server. Wiccana is a pretty friendly server to RP on.
