way too little, way too late.
allthough if they keep this up, they may have the game at the point it should have been launched at before the end of the year.
IF THE ONLY DEFENCE FOR CRITICISM OF A GAME IS CALLING SOMEONE A TROLL OR HATER, THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE GAME
*Image: Jack Emmert and Bill Roper stand smiling, hand in hand, in front of a press podium filled with microphones. The air is still in anticipation. They speak as one.*
"We know some of our players have been disappointed by the quality of our game, Star Trek Online, but today we stand before you with world shattering news!" Grinning madly the two raise their arms in victory. "We now have visitable ship interiors!"
The camera pans around to find the auditorium empty save for two geeks in Cryptic T-Shirts with bags spilling over with booth swag.
"Horrraay!"
Too little, too late.
Coming soon coming soon coming soon i am damn tired of coming soon. It should have been in at launch.
Like people posted above. To little To late
Now people will be able to cyber in the Jeffries Tubes!

*checks to see if Cryptic perma ban is still in effect....

So all ship interiors are going to look like quinn's office?
yeah but not until the furries ..uh caitians are in.
I'll wait for actual content. You know, like real missions with some thought behind them. Not just stamped out by a program. I was a big supporter of STO. Come on devs! Content! Decent missions that keep your interest and make you want to see where the next one takes you.....Please? (whine) (hey it works for little kids)
And for that matter will it be ship interiors for all the factions? Klingons, Feds, Romulans, and...oh yeah.
As others of have said, too little WAY too late.
Magic 8 Ball: They will be instanced........
I wonder how much the patches will be on the store?
I am playing STO now. Why are the ships interior so big? If the interior is that big the ships should be way bigger.
I have played SWG. I in the last week i came back to SWG. I went in my Nova Carrier (POB) the ship of course is not as big as most of the ships in STO. When I walk around the hallways are small the rooms are small. You feel like its more real. It all feels like you are running the length of the ship. I get a Great feel for the size of the ship. The new Gunships are huge compared to the POB ship, But again its got small hallways small rooms. And yet feels like a big ship. There is multiple floors, there is a place for a captain and engineer and 6 gunners plus 1 or more people fixing the ship as it takes damage. A lot like everybody fixing the Millennium Falcon in the old 3 Star wars movies. Its crazy alarms going of people shooting stiff captain flying and telling orders to everybody SOOO much fun.
When i walk around a building in real life are the hallways as big as a foot ball stadium. NO they are all small just a few feet taller then the average person. Just a few people wide. I hope STO will go to a more real looking interior. I don't want to be in a monster size hall or room. I want to walk through my ship and feel like the ship is big not the interior.
Make me feal like im on the ship that i see in the movies.
Interiors are the least of people's issues with this game. I'm sure that IF they are ever brought in most won't use them due to the fact that there would be an instance for every room you go into. They'll be nice to look at but I doubt that everyone who left will come back because of a few extra rooms to walk around in. Allow players to have ship to ship combat while sitting in the captains chair and looking thru a view srceen and then MAYBE you'll something worth coming back for.
Currently Playing: World of Warcraft
Because Cryptic gave a series of bullshit excuses about the camera, multiple players in a single interior, and how "they were constrained by the sound stage when they originally made Star Trek sets!" (as a huge Star Trek fan who's read everything there is to read on Star Trek I've never, ever once seen the set designers say "we wished we could build sets that were as big as the Hagia Sophia." They tended to say that the sets turned out exactly as envisioned.)
However, they are now back-peddling on this view and saying that they're going to try to really shrink the size of future interiors to be closer to realistic.
I think the giant land interiors make the graphics look a whole lot worse.
I definitely agree with the sentiment of too little, too late. These guys have gone out of their way to ensure that I feel motivated to share my dissatisfaction with their level of honesty, customer care, and product quality any time they come up.
RELAX!@!! BREATHE!!!
I admit - I LOL!

RELAX!@!! BREATHE!!!
Is it bad that I had to look up that reference?
I hope they give us conference rooms... or whatever they are called. Shuttle bay would be awesome, but then I'd demand we can detach the shuttle from the ship and let the AI take over the ship. That would be cool, however, I'm expecting a disaster so they won't have to do too well to surprise me.
Longing for Skyrim, The Old Republic and Mass Effect 3
Why should we be? It is only in the plans for future release, just like everything else. Sure I would like to see ship interiors but I would be more happy with content added and I am not talking about that sorry attempt at a few raids that they did. I would be happier if I could fly through space without getting sucked up into an instance by a wondering signal. I would be happier if they added an integrated voice chat system or be able to control my ship with a joystick. Why should I be happy with something that is promised for the future when it should of been in the release. Oh and by the way, I am still waiting for my flying car that was promissed to us in the 60's, 70's, 80's and yes even today it is still scheduled to arrive sometime in the future. But then again, what can you expect when a company puts more emphasis on Fluff than Stuff.
LOL.
Well, I admit I am a bit disappointed in you. I thought your geek cred was better than that.

Ill be happy when sto is this game http://www-waa-akam.thomson-webcast.net/us/dispatching/?event_id=ef804b5c6581bb453902e96f13b91a1e&portal_id=d9882584be03673749d664f440208ab2
Oh the promises. Worst yet they promised all these features were already working! HAH and where are any of them now?
funny that you posted that link because around the 08:55 mark he said the movies and TV shows are absolute canon and we aren't going to change a darn thing. Well, since I can remember watching TOS when it was new and TNG and all the movies I wonder where and when I missed the part where the Feds fired first, wiped out whole crews and committed genocide,,guess i just don't get it.
