I was at uni when mmo's weren't around, I played MUDS instead. When I was finishing up a year I knew I would have no internet connection at my dads (I played via the uni's systems) so I was awake for 3 days (72 hours!) just on ths MUDS, luckily it was played by americans, australians as well as europeans so I had people to keep me awake.
The only reason I stopped playing at 72 hours is that I had things crawling at the side of my vision and decided hallucinations were not conducive to playing :P
My one and only 80 hour session was the weekend after SWG came out and I took the friday off work and that thursday night played straight through til roughly saturday with just hot pockets, pizza rolls and bathroom breaks...by sunday I was actually seeing black shapes around the room as well and could no longer go I passed out sometime around midnight and had to be into work that monday monring....
