well with open beta begining in less than 1 hr  and with all these new changes i wonder if  it be better to wait the first few hrs not  in game to to the storm of open beta testers. CB first few mins was wall to wall  players trying to do  the newbe land . after 30-40 mins the devs doubles the mobs in the newbe zone do to over run of new players.   even with the now  extra mobs   every one doing there newbe aoe and  quest  mobs droping faster than u could target them  i think i wait few hrs before starting .

open beta starts at 11 am PDT

Played this until lv26, when it then hit me that this was nothing more than a cashshop cow, and I don't know how I missed that right from the momment I started playing.

My biggest problem was the pet system, it was great until I realised they cannot learn any skills for free. In order to teach a pet 1 attack skill, you'll need to buy the skill book for 10k (by lv26 I only earned 11k) but in order to use it you need 30ZEN to unlock 1 (out of 6) skill slots.

Although you can buy ZEN from other players @ around 40-50k each, for 30 it would run you about 1.5mil just to teach your pet a single attack skill, and as I said at lv26 I still only had 11k, so it would be a long long time before my pet would actually be of any real use.

Your math is simply flawless... 100 ZEN for 50k means 15k for a skill slot not 1,5mil ;p

Where did you get that he said 100 zen was 50k? He said 1 zen was 40-50k meaning 30 zen would indeed be between 1.2 - 1.5 million...

So, yes his math would be flawless.

Unless, you're claiming you can get 100 zen for only 50k? That would have nothing to do with his math, though. I'm confused...

Thats couse you buy 100 Zen not 1 Zen, its pretty basic stuff, you only have to play like 15 sec to know that, dunno how someone can get to lev 2x and not know that ;p

I guess I was a little harsh with my initial thoughts of the game, decided to give it another go over the weekend and it seems to have won me over. My problems with the pet system are solved if you happen to capture or buy a pet which already has the desired skill slot (first slot is free).

Whereas I saw it as a cashcow, I see now that's not entirely true, it is actually pretty fair to stricty free only players.

The in-game ZEN Trader npc is fairly reasonible, 100ZEN=50k which is cheap when compared to other mmo's. But the only thing is the least ammount you can buy is 100ZEN so it can take about the first 30-40 levels of questing to earn enough for your first purchase.

There are also other systems within the game to purchase Cash only items from a bonus market, salary and something else I can't remember the name of so i'll just call it "The other thing" lol.

Salary: After lv30 it is earned ever 2 hours (takes about 3-4hrs to get to lv30). Not sure on the ammounts you get every 2 hours, it seems to be random or depends on your current level, but on average you receive about 10-20 salary each time. You can also earn more from "The other thing", and from doing certain quests.

The other thing: After lv30 you begin collecting this, it goes up by every minute you are logged in, and when the counter reaches 6000 you can exchange it for more salary.
