Torn between recent "comeback" games
And when I mean comeback games I mean AoC and Vanguard. Both had bad launches, both are apparently good games now. I played vanguard for the first month of release and didnt resub, but played every free month that I got in january (courtesy from SOE). But it seems that they decided that it would be cool not to give a free month this year. I played Age of Conan for a bit longer. Anywho, I can only play one and im not sure which one to go back to.

I'm in the same situation, I have active sub to AoC and just starting sub to Vanguard, but unfortunately I have to drop other one and atm it looks like it will be AoC. Vanguard has huge world, crafting, diplomancy, mature but small community, player housing etc.. and AoC has the combat system, big but immature community and no sandbox elements.
Do you enjoy exploring, crafting and huge world?
..or do you enjoy soloing to cap and grouping/raiding, nice combat system and awesome graphics?
I enjoy all those things :P. One of my main problems with AoC was leveling. It was boring and to me, long. I couldn't find out where to level up. If you can help me out in that regard I might just go with AoC, considering I see 60 day cards selling for 15$ on the internet.
48-50, 58-60, 68-70, 78-80. Those are damn annyoing levels.. also when you make alts the 40-80 is always pretty much the same.
If you can't handle AoC leveling then Vanguard will be even worst.
Yes but in Vanguard leveling is atleast enjoyable. The game is centered around PvE. In age of conan I just want to PvP, skip that boring PvE BS.
AoC is easy to level in. Quest will get you to 80 before you run out of quests.
Want faster? Use the xp potions found everywhere and find a keshetta grind group, or run solo missions for fast xp in the villa instances.
Even better now, is the offline levelling in AoC. Every 4 real days , you get 1 free level for any toon.

you also get a free lvl 50 when you get once character to 50.
Spent my free 50 on a guardian who is now lvl 61-62, and I have a level 53 bear shaman. Also, I thought the free level was every 3 days? Anyways, is the new expansion shaking anything up badly? If it is, then il just play vanguard for a month then hop to AoC.
