Although, the answer is close to none, for me. Why? Is it so unreasonable to ask for some meaningful, soloable end-game content? (Wow dailies don't count)
I've tried endgame raiding in several MMOs and I've always found it overlong and boring. Not to mention that no one seems to be able to create a decent boss fight.
As much as I hate it, the game does nothing but focus on endgame so they earned it. This is if you dont count Sandbox mmos though such as Darkfall or Ultima. Cuz you can't do anything endgame, but at the same time, you can do unlimited amount of stuff.

Can you put the running tally in the original post? This forum numbers posts, so you can say "Tally through post #56" and just keep updating it rather than having us search through the posts to find results.
Just a suggestion.

Some events were a bit on the unbalanced side (especially the first ones from many years ago), but it has gotten a lot better. Word "Raid" doesn't exist in that game simply because no event is like the other. They're all unique in some way or the other. And there's a l o t of it.
Asheron's Call for me - constantly evolving storyline, unique events, player-driven trading economy and constant updates 11 years after launch is an achievement very few can even dream of in this industry.
Challenging end-game encounters, dungeons and events rather than games you can download step by step instructions for.
To say that Eve and UO had no progression? Is that true?
.
I know in UO for example, lowbees were fresh meat.
.
Isn't there at least a learning curve? Or a money curve? I can't see someone preforming at max right after log in. Or an equipment curve? Or a need to build your ratings up?
.
WoW has tutorial levels 1-79, 80 is where the game starts.
What exactly is "end-game" in a sand-box? There's no true definition that could be all encompassing. Is it reaching GM blacksmith and being able to make GM crafted armor of rare metals? Is it getting to the end of the hardest dungeons? Is it being able to spirit speak as a native language?
There is nothing that can cover all of this to define end-game in any sandbox especially when the game is generally built to keep things going. The experience revolves more around the players than the environment itself in this case. Even EVE with its tiered equipment and 100 different activities has no clear cut end-game, you just do things and have fun ultimately or at least try to n o get pwned all the time.
Yeah this pretty much nails it. Look at it this way, in EVE, within a short time you can be flying a decently fitted tackling frigate and help out in any PVP encounter, even in 0.0. Contrast that with WOW where the "end game" raiding starts at 80.
Of course there is progression, some day you may be out in 0.0 flying a Dreadnaught or Titan, but its the same space and you'll have that Dread supported by a fleet of smaller support ships to keep it safe including those that tackle.
Same with mining, everyone can mine, right from the get go (or haul ore) and Ive been in mining OPs with players who had 2 years of mining training yet were supported by players with only beginning skills.
So it is right to say that EVE's end game starts when you join, because in all actuality there is no end game per sec, just a persistent world for you to explore and try to propser and grow in.

I agree, for an mmog there is no end-game, that is something of a pure CRPG, but this is end-game-content, not end-game. When the level-up/grinding/training is past, what do you do? You play end-game content. That's all it means. I don't care about variants of what it's called, that can be a debate for another thread, everyone knows what is meant by the name I used for it, which serves the purpose for this vote.
UO because the entire goofy idea of "end" game didn't exist yet. It was back in the golden era when MMOs were persistent worlds that were meant to last indefinitely, as they were a constant story unfolding side by side with the players' lives. They were the stage on which virtual "lives" were acted out....virtually unscripted....by myriads of different kinds of characters.
EQ2, but only based on my experience of "end game" years ago when the cap was lower.
I'm voting, but....this thread isn't going to have a very accurate conclusion even just in our small forum community, because.....I wonder how to vote, being I haven't EXPERIENCED the "end game" of ALL of these games. To vote for a BEST "end game," wouldn't one have to have played the "end game" content of all the games FIRST to make that determination? Have you guys all played the end game content from ALL of these games? O.o
"End game" content I have experienced: WoW, UO (though I wouldn't call anything IN that game "end game"), and EQ2 from back when the cap was lower, however, present day "end game" for EQ2 I'm not qualified to comment on.
So I would say, based only on MY experience....any of those games except WoW, because the only "end game" content I experienced and thought was truly lame was WoW's. On the other hand...I've only experienced the "end game" of a few games, so.....
I have to wonder if all the people voting for the "end game" of WoW or EVE or whatever....have ever experienced the end game content OF any other game??? I actually don't feel qualified to VOTE on "end game" content when being asked to compare between so many games....honestly.

Well, I can only hope that people research the games before they make the purchase. Of course we can’t sample them all in full, but just the features list of games should get them to decide on what types of games to play, and possibly more than one over the course of time. Imo I think it’s turning out accurate enough for a sample size.
You had UO up before the edit, not sure what vote you wanted after.... EQ2 unless you decide on putting something else first Not counting again until tomorrow, if there are enough votes.
I'll tell you what though, with EVE doing strongly, I may need to run the demo again. Last time I did was just after a major publish release, and the game was bugged (missions not working etc). But I may take another run at it in the coming months once I burn out on DDO... and I know I will
----
And for versions of the games, any games that get at least 5 votes, I'll count the mentions of specific versions and note them into the final rsults on Sunday (e.g. SWG Pre-CU/NGE etc.). Just remember to do the right voting format, please. I havn't counted those yet, so they can be edited in if someone forgot to list specific versions. Main votes won't change though, those are already counted with each update post. Posting twice trying to vote twice = no vote.
If exclude EVE Online, which is sandbox and cant have endgame content, Id say EQ1 or FFXI. Both have tons to do at high level, but EQ was older, has more expansions, thus takes my vote

Did you do that because I just said please? lol
I don't understand that, may need to use the voting format mentioned in the OP if you don't mind. EVE is a valid vote if you decide to vote for that.
Has to be my favorite end game of all games I've tried. I've played endgame in WoW, EQ1, EQ2, FFXI, and Aion, so I can only really comment on the best end game out of those games.
EQ1 end game had so much depth, and gave you so many things to accomplish besides simply raiding. Working together as a guild to aquire keys and flags was awesome, and then finally going to those raid zones with your whole guild was just a very epic feeling. FFXI was a close second, while EQ2 and WoW have absolutely horrible end game experiences (IMO).

Even without Hokey raids I always managed to find a lot to do. Probably more than in any other MMO I have tried apart from EVE.

Ultima Online
For all the reasons everyone else has stated!
Sandbox games generally have the best endgames because their defined by the player and players around him or her.
Playing: Rift, LotRO
Waiting on: GW2, BP
Eve online, the whole game is endgame.
