Well, I can provide a partial translation to the OP:
"I'll start. EVE Online, last night, amarr militia fleet. I tackled a pie abbaddon. in a faction-fit cruor. I died, in a fire, horribly..."
OP is a member of the Amarr faction war milita, which means he was prowling around low sec space looking for enemy faction targets. What he found was a PIE (major role playing guild in EVE, battles with CVA I believe) Abbaddon, which is an Amarr Tech 2 Battleship. OP was flying a faction fitted Cruor, (Small Frigate) which means it was pretty expensive, and he may even have had some expensive implants in his pod.
A Cruor would normally only try to tackle and hold in place such a BS, but depending on the fit it appears the Battleship was able to pop the OP. (via drones, smart bomb or less likely quick tracking small guns, OP doesn't say)

Probably the dumbest thing I've done in PVP was back in DAOC when I was a MInstrel and leading an 8 man through the Frontiers looking for targets. Managed to fall asleep at the wheel and lead the entire group off of a high ledge which damaged everyone so severely that the level 50 npc's were able to kill most of us.

Probably the dumbest thing I tend to do at times is go after a group of players even if I'm by myself. Although on rare occasions I have actually come out ahead in those scenarios, which leads to some laughs for me and is rather thrilling. However, the truth is more often that not it leads to me getting my butt handed to me rather quickly and decisively.
Still fun though but really is pretty dumb to try and take on multiple players when it's just you unless you're way above their level which I don't do because frankly that isn't fun to me.
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.
I don't pvp much but lately I've been playing savage 2 which is all pvp but with a friend is less boring and it's also hack and slash not click a skill and wait for the character to do it on auto targeted x enemy.
Well anyways I see in front of me 5-15 (Don't know exactly) enemies and behind me there were like 5 other people the race/class (each race is only a class like for example a gargoyle like creature is a hunter meaning fast damage from melee) anyways I usually if I'm not alone and lag doesn't come around can kill like 8 people or more depending if my friend is with me since he usually uses the healer and heals me :P
Not to brag but I love the combat style of these games and I play on near hard on mount & blade and when bored I walk instead of stay mounted which makes it harder but still could win.
Long story short I start moving forward and when we are like 5 cm (in real) far from each other I turn around fast and by surprise I see all of them either stayed very far away or went some were else...
Guess what I maybe can kill 1 or 2 depending on the enemy type cause legionares are very hard to beat with a dps monster because they are a sort of tanker with also high damage (uses 2 handed) and to add to it he uses a rocket launcher as ranged >_> but afterwards I'm left dead there in a matter of seconds lol.
There's a limit on how many hits a sort of rogue beast can wistand before dying considering there's no auto dodge but you have to do it manually like also guarding and aiming.
Maybe I should pay more attention to my allies but these things happen frequently sometimes that can make you angry or /facepalm when you see people keeping on using shaman (The only healer of the beasts) used only to attack and never help allies...
When i first started playing mmos, i got into healer class. Once i learned the ropes and got a grasp on healing i went for pvp. Being a noob to pvp as well i thought "i should throw a couple of these heal over time before i start hitting". So i throw a couple heals and start hitting......i dont even make a dent...WTF!!!!! Oh i forgot about safety settings and was healing my opponent....smooth move lol
Sad thing is i still do it once in a while. Its kinda embarrassing too, like trying to recoup after tripping on a crack in the sidewalk.

Mostly right. in this case, pie=pirate, not PIE member. what happened was, I thought the militia fleet was engaging, heard the wrong thing on vent, so I warped to zero on the gate and tackled(which means warp-scramble the ship, stopping it from warping off for those who don't play eve), and it ended up being me alone against them. the abby neuted, scrammed and shot me. I had a microwarp drive fitted, so I was dead in the water, scrams shut off MWD, I tried to make it to the gate and jump through but, I died, and was podded to boot. cruor was faction-fit, so I lost about 150 mil+ isk for the ship+fittings, plus the +3 imps and all my hardwirings in my pod. dumbest thing I've ever done.
Can't wait to do it again, excpet for the dying part
I can't really think of any dumb things I've done in MMOs, I rarely do something stupid, but I occasionally do something ballsy. Like walk into a crowd of people knowing they are going to gank me, but of course I do so naked or something. Maybe I've forgotten the controls after coming back to a game once or twice, which leads to getting served good, but that's nothing.
The best thing I can think of didn't happen to me, but it's still pretty good. It's from when I juked some dudes ganking on a bridge in AoC's Conall's valley, it was the only way up and they knew it. I tried to stealth by the first time, but they knew I was there and started searching. They popped me out and I jumped off the cliff to avoid letting one of them get the kill.
So I come back again, but this time barrel right into them. I quickly avoid getting hit and make for the cliff like I am going off again, but instead I stop at a lowered lip and stealth at the edge. One of the guys follows me off, and the other tries to pop me out of stealth. While he does the search animation, I break stealth and serve him up real fast. I then sat on the bridge and worked them every time they tried to come up until I had to back off, because they started using their brains for a change.
Kicking people off ledges is fun too, even being the victim. There was a dude on the bridge leading to the sanctum in the wildlands that was mounted and shoving everyone off. I must have ran back a dozen times, yelling "wheeee!" as I go down.
Oh yeah, has anyone done a steep fall in-game and braced for impact in RL?
I used to play King's Field 1 and start a new game just to jump off the lighthouse and spiral down to the ground in first-person. Gave me kind of a rush, and the same thing happens in Wurm Online every time I slide down a mountain real good. Maybe the viewpoint has a lot to do with it, because I never did this in third-person.

Long time ago was playing Perfect World with a good friend of mine. We held a guild dueling tournament and we had both gone through 2 rounds and were paired up to fight each other.
My friend got nervous and right when the countdown from 3 hit #1 and the duel began he hit the meditate button and sat on his ass as I spewed a blast of fire and earth in his face on my mage. The people he defeated in the 2 rounds before hand felt pretty low after that.
Defended a tower in a WOW battleground. Killed the would be attacker, but had very low health left. Went to peek over the edge to see his body and perhaps do some rude e-mote in celebration. Fell off tower. My body now lay next to his.

I wasn't the one that failed but the guy that chased me did;
In AION, I was ganking some lowbies as a lowbie (I was around 30). To make a long story short a level 50 came by to get rid of the Elyos gankers (me). Anyhow, he was trying to get me but I was right near a cliff, I jumped off the cliff and proceeded to float - he did the same. About a split second later I made a 180 turn and landed back in the spot where I jumped, he tried to do the same but hit the wall and had his wings retract.
Uhmm....I remember this one time in WoW. My group and I were gonna do Heroic UP (this was before Dungeon Finder).
I arrive there first with my priest and I find an ally there, managed to kill him. The rest of the team gets off UP, so I quickly get on my flying mount and get high enough to avoid their fire, waiting for the rest of my team.
While I sit my ass there chatting in guild chat, I see their shammy flying next to me, and I wave him or something.
BAM! Thunderstorm...
Was still wondering what the hell happened as I flew forward...until I hit a hill and died. Had a seriously good laugh outta it tho xD

In a Free League match in Atlantica the other day, I was just on the brink of beating an opponent a good few levels higher than me. It was my turn, I was almost certainly going to be able to finish my opponent off, but when I went to hit tab to switch which of my mercs was active, I accidentally hit the "~" key - which skips your turn. He killed me on his next turn.
