New MMORPG on the horizon: RFOnline

You have to see this new mmo. It's spectacular. Here's the bio:

RFonline is a unique MMORPG currently taking Asia by storm! Alot of people managed to get a taste for this game back towards the end of 2004 when it was currently in OpenBeta for Korea.

RFonline stands for "Romance and Fantasy Online" and you will often hear mention of "RvR" which stands for Race VS Race because in RFonline you will find yourself pitted against the opposing two races.

If it follows the trend of previous successful Asian MMORPGs, it will port to NA/EU in no time. People in NA and EU have become so fascinated with the game, they've even endured lots of lag from the Asian servers to play the beta from start to end (they can't purchase online to play the release, because you must be of that location). So, we've taken the leap and we're currently the first English-speaking RFOnline dedicated website. There are not current English servers but we hope for some soon.

Even though the game is in CLOSED beta, the fansite offers tutorials on how to get in and offers giveaways of accounts. This is only for a short time, so join the fansite to join the beta now!!

    played it in Open beta for korean , it was decent, felt like lineage 2 though, really nice visuals this game has btw, I loved them . The game is played in 3 races, each race has their advantage, those meches u saw can only be built by the race that looks like kids. mostly any race can use guns/bows/swords , ect ,the thing I liked about this game is the skill system, skills lvl as u use em, no need to put points and crap, the more u use the skill , the stronger it becomes

    oh no, that game is horrible compared this this, this is fun, and different, but still same basics as every mmo

    Anyways, this game looks pretty sweet. The environments are nice, and if it's a skill-based system it's got me. I don't like how all the characters look exactly the same, though.

    And asian games usually have too much of a grind. I'll try it though.

    Listen Asmodeeus, seven years ago, Ultima Online didn't even have those pathetic "quests" that you refer to or those "professions" of ninja, samurai, necromancer, and paladin. Nor did it have any of the neon crap, or bug mounts. It didn't even have any "combat moves." You turned on attack and jousted with simplistic swings. It was a better game then. if you can't guess why then just uninstall the thing and move along. - Crabby

    Whats the game about?

    RFonline throws you as the player into an action packed game. Your primary objective is to get as high level as possible to stand a better chance of defeating oposing races when you encounter them.

    Not very good objective in my opinion.
