Please convince me to play this game. What's this game about? What's special about it? What classes/abilities are there? Heavy crafting game? PvP? Strong guild abilities? Level or skill based? What does the game offer? If there's bugs, are they game breaking or minor? If game breaking, then what's the exact problem?

What are you, like three years old? You need to be convinced to play a game? Do what everyone else does and look at the video footage and read up about it.

Well, no classes at all, feel free to be what you want. For me, it's enough to try the open beta
I'm really enjoying the game actually -- but it's hard to play. The mobs seem to warp all over place. The mobs, even have movement annimations but don't move. I walk up next to them... attack, and it says the mob is to far away.
I'm pretty sure it's lag, not sure if anyone else is experience this?
The odd thing is, I have no lag, when talking on channels, moving, looting, crafting, buying/selling, and even when I attack the mobs, the response times are perfect. I just seems the mobs are lagged?
Because video footage and reading up on something always translates to how good a game is. Go rofl in some other thread.
The game seems to have the potential to be fun. The classless style was and is a huge draw for me, but like poster above mentioned there are some strange lag issues going on. I've experience the same issue with mobs. Good news is it is not released yet to so there is still time to address it.
I agree there is some weird mob animations, but the game is a lot of fun for me. I will be playing on launch day. And to the OP, I also agree that no one should have to convince you to play something, research it, it's not that hard.
LOL are you the OP? Just saying man just saying, your awfully offended by the quote you quoted on, "rotfl." That wasn't even something to defend back as a observer of this thread. I just thought I would say like the others research the game yourself and look at videos of the game, needing to be convinced to play a game is like asking someone to convince you to breathe. This game looks like poop btw.

I doubt he's the OP, since I was going to say basically the same thing he did. I'd rather ask other gamers than rely on edited videos and reviewers who may or may not be paid to say nice things.

Seriously for a game made in 2010 you would think that you could;
1. Log into the forum after your register
2. Know how much you are up for if you decide to play
3. How big is the download FFS
4. A half decent website with "ACTUAL" details about the game, it is no where enough to even know about the game let alone "want to play" or "try it"
Then again, MMO devs are so lazy these days. You pay them for crap MMOs, log endless complaints about the bugs, and then they expect you pay premium AAA prices.
And I thought the Catholic Church was bad at PR.....
Shit, I can smell the ignorance all the way here. I get the message clearly: you know shit about running business and yet you complain. 1 2 3 4 has nothing to do with laziness, it's got to do with a bad company that don't pay attention to important details. Seriously, why the fuck would anyone want to miss that kinda stuff if they want to attract customers. To benefit yourself because one is lazy sounds like what a kid that runs a company would do, and you don't believe it is ran by kids, do you?
This game got potential but man, their marketing strategy is nonexistant.

Uhm, I simply think this: if u like it, play it, if u don't, don't play it. I don't waist my time speaking about games I don't lieke, I don't play them, easy. I saw many ppl write about games like this without having try it, I can only say LOL .
Please check the new thread I made. I do not recommend this game at all. It is terrible.
If you have spare change to throw away. Or like to take risks. By the game you "may" like it. Personally the game is sham. Not worth it. It's dead, don't see it surviving in 2011.
Even though they lack alot of information and are ignorant to initial players, I'm still going to give it a trial run. At least for 10 days.
My initial concern is EU server ping rates. I wonder how many regional servers are going to be available. MMO's today should have European, US, and Oceanic servers at least!
Don't bother I just quit today. There's no sense of accomplishment... You gain new abilities every 6 levels only... and those levels are hard... most MMOs today you get new abilities and spells every 2 levels. Combat is dull, level 1-12 anyway, that's as far I could make it, you smash the same two spells for days and days. There's really no such thing as pulling, snaring, or kiting, no stratergy, mobs just warp around to you... then you smash those to keys till it's dead or your dead... waist of money, or even worse it's a waist of time

Yeah sure, give it a chance man unlike some buttheads that are here only to complain over a few misstakes and not the actual game. These dudes need to learn some respect, or either they are young.Sadly though, personally I don't see myself playing this as for now due to the pure emptiness. I wish I could give it a chance, but no, not at the moment. It still feels kinda incomplete in a way and the company doesn't seem to be fit at running business. No offense though, I encourage the devs to do their best to turn it into a shining game.

I am not trying to´be rude, but I am guessing you're looking for a WoW type of game. This game isn't about hitting keys and getting new spells, it's about... something else. There are people who like these types of game, and look at FFXI. THat game still got shit loads of subscribers and in total there are like 10 spells or so.for each job, although that was one of the reasons I quit.
I have to agree with you using the same skills consecutivley is extremely boring, and that is why I do not like games where end game is all about raids, aka MMORPGs nowdays.

Don't assume I like WoW - I hate it. I love final fantasy online, but CoG, is brutal.
