Pretty stunning. I doubt those numbers represent active subscriptions, but even if they do not that is still an extremely impressive figure.
Yea, active or not, that really is quite a feat for any MMORPG. Blizzard's fanbase has really made this MMORPG grow into leaps and bounds. It's a shame the North American servers are plagued with server problems.
WoW That is amazing!
All my endings are waiting to begin.

Those who command the Gatekeepers command .... well... well the Flood-gates.
These gatekeepers are in business of segregating mainstream from niche.
Korea's Gatekeepers :
1. PC Bang (LAN Center) franchise Masters.
2. TV game show networks (which are huge in that country).
3. Pro-gaming Club (New paradigm, I have high respect for them), etc.
US's Gatekeepers :
1. Mass Media Masters, a.k.a Magazines.
2. Mass Retailers (Wal-Mart - oh God where should I begin?, EBGames, etc).
3. Game Media Sites (I despise them all).
4. Pro-gaming Fan clans (My high praisal).

If you've successfully cast your spell on them, it's guaranteed that your flood-gate will be wide open.
Now we could start speaking about army of loyal fans who do remember the legacy.
Wow, im happy for them. Its good that they are so popular, it spreads the word of mmorpgs and only advances the future of mmorpgs by having more popularity.
as with anything else out there.. it is paid active accounts that are counted.
